I can't see past a City win, but come on Wigan! Do football proud, do the country proud, and send those bunch of foreign mercenaries back home empty-handed.

I'd love to see Wigan win the FA Cup, but I can't see, their defence is atrocious and City will take advantage of that. They'll want the FA Cup as with it their season is bad, without it the season is pretty much a disaster.

I think the FA Cup final has gone down hill as a whole since the FA made the semis at Wembley and having the kick off at a stupid time. Having it on BBC would be better as well IMO

I believe they are forced into the early date by the CL final.

I don't really blame them for sticking the semis at Wembley, whatever helps pay it off.

I really want Wigan to win, it'd be quite cool to have a season where the two domestic trophies were won by Swansea and Wigan, two smaller sides who try and play football in a nice way.

I don't know, it's a hard chance to take, the angle was quite narrow. Would have got it on target, but not sure he could score from there anyway. If he had taken the shot, we'd have complained and said he had the time to cut back I reckon.

Wigan have been the better side so far but they do have to take their chances, City could go ahead from nothing, they have that quality.

Wigan doing it the right way. Two good chances not taken, and a penalty claim - I thought it was a pen in truth. City, surprisingly, haven't had as much of the ball, but they still look very dangerous when they've got it - 2 cracking saves has seen them kept at bay. 0-0, it's all to play for, and a good game so far!

This game has surely highlighted exactly why Manchester City haven't had a successful season. Players like Yaya Toure and David Silva who were so important last year seem to have become totally unmotivated. Yaya Toure has been like this all year, not even close to world class.

It also highlights the weirdness of Wigan Athletic, on their day they can be so, so good, even defensively they've been decent.

What?!

Kone has been one of the best forwards IMO in the Premier League this year, for £2 million he's been a bargain. He's fast, he's powerful and technically he's actually quite good. He hasn't been too good today but I have a feeling he might be a little unfit.

This Wigan team will be torn apart if they go down. Martinez will probably go. McManaman, McCarthy, Maloney will all have a lot of suitors. Most of the foreigners like Gomez, Kone will probably go back abroad. I think if they go down, they will struggle to get back up.
