luke campbell debut

Evening all.

Luke campbells debut has been announced for the 13th july at hull kr stadium. According to boxrec there are a couple of decent names on the card, rocky fielding and truss' favourite derry matthews. Im sure matchroom will stack the card further. Anyone planning on going?

Yeah thats where hes from. They are expecting a fast sell out apparently. Its not tpo far for me and I have friends not far from there so a few of us are going. I live in the sticks and most of my mates aint too bothered with boxing so I dont go to too many shows so looking forward to it.

Cheers az. The last time I went was in liverpool for the warren card a few years back. Magnificant seven I believe it was. The night degale fought paul smith. It was a great night and so it's been far too long.

Top suggestion Truss! You've gotta hate a show off. Vegas shmegas been there done that. Didnt get to see any boxing but I did do the sky jump off the stratasphere

How do you guys expect campbell to get on in his career. I feel he will have decent european success but will fall short of world level. Seems a down to earth kid though so best of luck to him. Also thanks to 6oldenbhoy I won some money on him at the olympics

I was planning on going to Glasgow on Sat to watch are Michael but we didnt have the funds in the end. Well the fight only lasted 59 seconds anyway

Think I will being going to this card, the Concepcion fight should be fun while it lasts!

Hearn was saying he has a massive fanbase after being on Strictly come Dancing but I cannot see the Strictly fans attending his fight. Unless there is decent zimmerframe access for the coffin dodgers and blue wig brigade

Quite looking forward to seeing how the lad gets on, seems like a good kid. Hopefully he'll enjoy his first fight, big day for him. Might not quite beat the Olympics, mind!

Got my tickets should be a great night. Bit weird though as they are standing tickets. Standing tickets at boxing in hull suggests trouble to me but lets see. Good job matthews isnt fighting crolla again on this card as that could have got messy in the crowd

This will be full. Luke is massive news in the Peoples Republic of Hull. The local newspaper has been spinning Tommy 'boom boom' Coyle as a future ATG for years now and it's about time someone else has come along for them to hype and it almost be credible.

What weight is Campbell fighting at?
