PLEASE NOTE - this season you will receive a 1 point deduction if you do not submit tactics (as well as a default loss) and a 1 point deduction if you do not vote. If you know in advance you are unable to do either, then you must state so on the Holidays/Days Off page, to avoid the penalties.

Ajax would be mugs to accept that, considering Liverpool supposedly had £18m knocked back in January. If Eriksen's going, Ajax should be looking at £20m as the total package.

Indeed, Arsenal yet again sleeping on the job while the one player they need moves elsewhere. The way they're going it'll be Aubameyang and Gourcuff as their signings rather than Jovetic + Higuain picard

I'm not sure Jovetic is the signing Arsenal need tbh. Higuain or someone of that nature would add far more in my opinion.

But you are right, it's typical Arsenal quibbling over the fee for ages and then missing out when someone stumps up the asking price. If Arsenal came back and matched Juve's price, they would get him because Fiorentina will not want to sell to Juve I wouldn't have thought.

Thing is, Arsenal can't sign the Ronaldos and Falcaos of the world, so the strata they need to sign consists of the Jovetics and Higuains. If they can't be bothered to pay the asking price, why should any Arsenal fan pay £1,500 for a season ticket to a team that will struggle mightily to achieve top 4 next season?

And who else is there that's so obviously available for transfer, that would actually go to Arsenal?

Although I actually think if they signed Higuain, it would be Vucinic/Higuain/Jovetic

Of the 12 of us, my mum was the only person who didn't have Norwich finishing bottom Shocked

The tie-breaker was 'total attendance at all WBA games this season", so all 38 league games, plus cup games. Meant you had to gamble on how far we'd progress in each cup, not that we needed a tie-breaker, as the guy who won said Swansea would win the cup and Wigan would get to the CO final Shocked

I'd have won if I hadn't said Albion would finish 13th with 46 points and 41 goals, the lowest out of everyone Laugh

I think he'll do a good job for you. Used to working in financial constraints, people point to Wigan's defence and how he didn't sort it out, but I'd like to see some manager make a defence when Gary Caldwell is your best available CB Laugh

I did that once - turns out I didn't realise that the last page of the sheet had 2 more questions on it. I could have technically still passed, but I would have needed 100% on my first two questions...

Sometimes you have to applaud Fifa's enginuity in screwing you.

Absolutely pummeled Real over two legs, lost to two corners where the ball somehow gets knocked down in a crowded box and turned in within three minutes of each other.

The icing on the cake was Schurrle breaking clean through, hitting both posts and the ball falling gently to the goalie. I was so angry that I wasn't even angry. I just chuckled.
