PLEASE NOTE - this season you will receive a 1 point deduction if you do not submit tactics (as well as a default loss) and a 1 point deduction if you do not vote. If you know in advance you are unable to do either, then you must state so on the Holidays/Days Off page, to avoid the penalties.

I'd like to add that if Azzy decides to wreck TP bidding because hes having a strop, I'll be more than slightly disappointed.

Same thing I said to Zidane, if you don't want to play, then quit rather than having a strop.

I am playing GSC. I want someone, ANYONE, to tell me how to spend £179m when we have just two TPs a week and a TP limit of £26.5m. Just please, tell me. I have offered you all massive cash offers in recent weeks, and no-one wanted to sell. I've done what I can within the league, now the only avenue I have left is TPs.

Please tell me how to spend £179m.

You must have realised the constraints of having a lot of money? It's not like the TP limit rises constantly and erratically.

The real problem was you had all 3 of your random lawyers as the backbone of your team for next season, and then you were intentionally trying to raise funds for bidding. Now you have to sell and have a big surplus

Some people take what happens on here far too seriously.

BTW - £133m of players/cash in, £145m of players out is hardly overpaying massively. If I get the lawyers value for the players I get in, then it goes up to £155m.

Azzy, save it for the TP rises throughout the season and focus on winning the league. Something that would have been easier while keeping Jovetic and Fellaini, who let's face it, were sold to lawyers in a strop.

Even before Lawyers I had £80m Olly, which is absurd. I didn't even do anything to hoard the cash, it just built up over a few weeks. And several of us were in the same boat. We brought too much money into it, and it's got us into this mad auction today where no-one is going to be happy. Especially me Laugh

I'll pull out of the auction and stockpile my cash. Seems like the fair thing to do.

Managers don't sell their star players. Quite understandably! I can't spend this money within the league, I've tried for the last month and no-one wanted to take it. I'll sit on it until the end of season 3 and see how much I have by then Laugh

Marky, in my opinion, only Vidal and Martinez are even worth £26.5m, if anyone paid that for any of the other players irl they'd be stark raving mad. But the auction isn't about value, it's about getting the player you want at a price you can afford.

I don't see a problem with you making whatever bid you like on a player if you have the cash. It's your money, do what you want with it. I only object to the notion that it's a big suprise you can't spend that money easily in the league or on TPs. Those restrictions were known before today.

Ganso was worth 50m once.

I don't have a problem with spending the money today, it's other people who don't like the idea of me paying £89m for a player they want.

Anyway, I've pulled out my bids for Martinez and Willian, as they're under 33. I've signed Duff and Gera instead, quality players still.
