A great performance by the lions today with ALMOST everyone having a positive contribution. Phillips was the only lion that had a terrible game. His box kicking was terrible and he was so slow around the rucks. The last ruck before he got dubbed he had the ball in his hands for about 5 seconds and dithered and panicked until he got tackled. What are Wales going to do? Phillips is getting older and his game is deteriorating at a rate of knots

His quick tap was the catalyst for the first try though. Credit where it's due...

Hes getting picked on reputation now and Gatland being the coach obviously helped. Gatland obviously likes the powerful scrum half but Murray was a better option. Phillips has several poor games but one good one, or one or two good contributions amidst averageness which sees him get by.

Thought Murray was excellent today. Hope another Murray can be excellent tomorrow.

Yes on both counts, but it's harsh to say Phillips offered nothing when he created the first try with his quick tap and pretty zippy service out of the contact area (not suggesting you did mind). Not a good performance, but not a poor one when he did offer and contribute something this game. Murray played very well and was comfortably the best Lions scrum half in the test series.

Well both Murray's were outstanding!

One of the best ever weekends for British Sport? The British and Irish lions secure the series and Murray destroys Djokovich at Wimbledon!

Certainly up there, the Olympics provided some moments - but not the passion of big games like the Wimbledon final and a Lions tour decider.
