League Reboot

First topic message reminder :

Please register your interest should we press ahead and reboot the league.

This is also a good chance to air grievances with current rules and suggest new ones, as well as any innovations you have to make it better.

We may entirely ignore all suggestions, such is our wont.

Team Selection

Every team valued at 100m or below is available

Everybody bids for their preferred team

Maximum bid is 120m, Minimum 70m. Bids must also be at least TM value of the club

Any money left over from the 120m budget goes into your budget for a player draft

Results
Same as before

Voting
Same as before, however 1 good/bad point for each team required

TP Limit
Draft = no TP limit
Start of the league = £10m limit
Each week = £1m increase
End of season 1 = £19m TP limit (based on 10 teams, no cup weeks as we'd do that at the end)
End of season 2 = £28m

You could make it £12m > £21m > £30m if preferred?

This will change slightly depending on number of teams.

Injuries
AGREED AS 4 INJURIES PER WEEK

Do we want any form of transfers healing injuries?
NO

Whether to ditch U21 and nationality restrictions
AGREED TO DITCH BOTH

SINGLE LEAGUE

You have to think most people will bid low to keep more money for the transfers.
Depends how badly you want them too. If I lose out on my team I have backups in place, hopefully there not all taken.

I went for a slightly off-piste selection, but if I don't get them (I can't see anyone bidding that high with the draft afterwards), I'll be happy with whatever team I get really.

By the way, if anyone bids for and wins Anderlecht, you have to change the name to "Handy Lech".

I really want my first choice team but I wont be too disappointed if I dont win them, I have backups.

Guys I've just realised, I'm on holiday from this Friday to the following Sunday picard

If you don't get a new manager, I'll pull out, because I'd miss the team draft, and player draft, which would leave me at a huge disadvantage.

Nahh dont pull out Azzy. We should find out on clubs soon, PM a list of players to 2 runners with 1st choice, 2nd choice players. As 2 runners will have the list it will work fairly.

If we find out teams today or tomorrow, I can prepare my player draft bids before I go. But then you'd be looking at fixtures the following week, and I won't be able to provide tactics, do more TPs, releases, etc etc. This has come at the worst possible time for me.

Unless someone who's not taking part can run my team and text me stuff, I won't be able to join it looks like Sad
