Ring of Honor posted on update on B.J. Whitmer, who will be held at a Toronto, Ontario hospital until at least Monday, after suffering an injury from a piledriver Michael Bennett performed on the ring apron at a live event Saturday night.

Looked very nasty. Could see his head was to low straight away. I don't watch roh but hope the dude is ok.

Apparently he never lost feeling in his arms or legs, so he'll be just fine. Pretty scary though.

You could see as soon as he went down his head was too far in. Can completely understand why WWE have banned them.

BJ Whitmer has been diagnosed with a bruised spinal cord and spinal stenosis, which is the same condition that ended the career of WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Whitmer is scheduled for further medical examinations in the coming weeks and there is currently no time table for his return.
