Further information suggest Lukaku is indeed unlikely to return to #wba. Paves the way for Anichebe

Indeed. I quit. What a flucking joke. I'd rather play our England U21 starlet striker Berahino than take Victor 'I've always been a lump and I'm totally sh1te' Anichebe on loan picard furious

Hope Lukaku scores 0 goals for you. mad

If Fellaini was always going to leave, even if no-one at Everton was going to admit it, should have sorted out Steven Defour as his replacement. Wouldn't have been that hard a deal to do IMO.

Apparantly Lukaku to Everton is cos they have offered a bigger loan fee. If that's true the WBA board should be ashamed of themselves.

We had him for free last season, so I'd assume it would be same again. We've already shelled out £2m for Sinclair's loan, £1.5m for Amalfitano's loan, £6m for Sessegnon, signing on fees and huge wages for Anelka, Lugano, Sessy, Lee Camp...not much left for loan fees I'd imagine!

Loan fee played a factor according to that Lepkowski guy who seems fairly spot on.

I can't see what else would stop it, you've got the whole Jose/Clarke relationship should be a plus, and the fact Lukaku loved it at WBA last year

Also we helped you get Fer cheap. We agreed £8.6m for him. If we hadn't questioned his knee and pulled out, you'd have had to pay more

£4 million for him, I still can't believe it. We've had a brilliant summer, and all signs point to there still being a lot left in the kitty as the Toivonen/Alderweireld bid money was never spent

In truth there are question marks on his knee but if it holds up, you've got one of the bargains of the window.

Yeah he did, was always too good to be true that one, he came to Norwich, but really it would've been a mentally bad choice to come here. Same really with Toivonen.

Mate he was unbelievable on Saturday. I've never seen a Norwich player with the ability he has. If he stays fit all year, there is no way he will be with us next season. I'm already resigned to that Laugh

Morning, you know its deadline day when Arry signs Kranjcar again & we get the traditional car window interview !!

Everton getting Lakaku is great business. Ozil at Arsenal, still can't believe it! What a signing.

Dont worry Marky, im doing mine now too.

Arry must be the king of buying previously managed players. Defoe, Crouch & Kranjcar spring to mind straight away.

I seriously hope Moyes but more Ed Woodward has learnt from this summer window. We have looked like Transfer Chupms this whole window, offering undervalued offers & wasting time on players that wont join us.

Ozil is a fantastic signing, took Wenger long enough to spend but what a player hes got.
