the show was only when i was a kid 10 years ago.

Man they don't make kids programs like they used to.

Anybody remember knightmare? Excellent program, just got sky in coupla weeks ago and loving the fact they show it on a friday night although the kids on it are bloody stupid!

Would like to add the early series of Dallas to the list but can't really as I was about the only kid in my year who wasn't allowed to stay up to watch it.  My bedtime coincided with the opening theme tune and I'd have to lie in bed imagining what magical things were going on.  When everyone else discussed it at school the next day I pretended I knew what they were on about by nodding sagely.  Was quite excited when it was rescreened a few years ago but, after watching a few episodes, realised that it was  sh1t.

I remember Zammo, but for me Grange Hill was all about Tucker and Gripper.

And Benny and big Al. Did you watch Tuckers Luck, Julius? Not as good as Grange Hill but still ok.

Classic British television that.  

I remember watching Grange Hill at that time - real hard-hitting storylines.

Wasn't that one of the reasons they stopped Grange Hill? The fact that they liked having hard hitting story lines but in today's society, that would mean half the school taking drugs, and not just Zammo, albeit a joint, and have a few carrying knives. To air this at 17.10 would be impossible.

Hi folks I'm looking to try to remember a show that was on when I was a kid, think it was on itv / stv, and it would be about 30 years ago.

It wasn't rentaghost.

It was a series, the lead was a lassie and there was a ghost who dressed almost in a witchfinder / tudor type hat. He had a deep voice and scared the bejeesus out of me.

Mind you I remember being terrified by the space vampire in a Buck Rogers episode.

Champion the Wonder Horse, great theme tune, like a mighty cannonball he seems to fly!
