Exclusive v2 Interview with Austin Aries

On Friday 13th September, Adam and Gavin were joined for a very special edition of the v2 Wrestling Podcast by TNA star Austin Aries!
In this exclusive interview, kindly granted by TNA, Aries answers questions about his rise to the main event scene, his character direction and storylines, his previous TNA run alongside Kevin Nash, and hopes for the future.
He is also candid about how close he came to retiring before his return to TNA in 2011. It seems he made the right decision to continue, as the last couple of years have seen him win the World, X Division and Tag Team titles, headline the biggest TNA pay-per-view of 2012, and recently reach the final four of this year's Bound For Glory Series. which culminates on UK screens on Sunday 15th September, on Challenge TV at 9pm! (Spoiler warning: the results of these matches are addressed during the interview)
He also discusses TNA's upcoming UK tour, and the fan interaction that will be at the heart of it.

I believe we've got some more really good coverage from this, the above site, bleacher and wrestling observer at the very least.

i liked the interview, thought Aries made some good points, it could have done with being longer if possible.

I think the point was made that its possible that areis might have had 5 interviews that day and maybe had questions asked of him before.

Eg i think Crips has done an interview previously for V2 with Aries and asked the question about working with Kevin Nash.

Good memory! I think I did. I was hoping he'd go more in depth this time but it was very difficult to get any depth out of him on anything!
