TNA Results 19th September - The Aftermath of No Surrender - Spoilers ahead Empty TNA Results 19th September - The Aftermath of No Surrender - Spoilers ahead

Post by Fernando Fri 20 Sep 2013, 12:18 pm

Magnus comes out and says he hasn't been right since last week, and it's because he came that close to winning the Bound For Glory Series. He congratulates AJ Styles for winning, but he has to deal with three other men now, and he dares EGO to come face him. Magnus says he doesn't have his family with him, but he won't get jumped again, then Kaz comes out and Magnus stomps him in the corner. Daniels runs out and hits him from behind, but Magnus ducks a punch and Daniels accidentally hits Kaz in the head. Magnus gains control for a bit before Bobby Roode runs out and attacks him, but Sting and Samoa Joe are quick to run to make the save. Sting says if EGO wants a fight then it's on, because they are going to have a six man tag match, then he chases EGO to the back.

Chris Sabin approaches Manik and says he saw him ask Hulk Hogan for a match with Jeff Hardy, and he says he is really proud of him. He says he can appreciate the courage, because he took a chance asking Velvet Sky out, eventhough she says yes before he finished talking. Sabin says Manik has been on a role lately, but he also knows about that because he's a former X Division and World Heavyweight Champion. Sabin says Manik kind of owes his success to him, and he tells Manik he might not even be the champion now if it wasn't for him. Manik says he needs to get ready, then he leaves as Sabin tells Velvet that they should go get a closer look at this match, and she agrees and they walk away together.

Manik vs Jeff Hardy

Hardy connects with a spinning headscissors off the ropes, then he clotheslines Manik on the floor and and rolls him back in and hits a high dropkick. Manik drop toe holds Hardy into the ropes and dives on him, then he goes for a springboard dropkick but Hardy rolls away and hits a somersault dive off the turnbuckles. Hardy goes for a Twist of Fate but Manik blocks it and gets a double underhook pin attempt, then he goes to lift him but Hardy hits a Twist of Fate and a Swanton for the win. Hardy gets up and shakes Manik's hand, then Chris Sabin gets in the ring and plays to the crowd. He raises Manik's arm and walks away, but he runs back at Manik and stomps him a few times before Hardy makes the save and Sabin taunts the fans. The cameras catch up to Sabin backstage bragging to Velvet Sky, and he says they need to get their stuff and leave, but the camera man asks why he just did that. Sabin says Manik is disrespectful, and he says everyone disrespects him eventhough he has clout and he is a trailblazer. He says he has accomplished so much here, but he wants respect, and he's going to get it by taking it, then he tells the cameraman to go away.

Winner - Jeff Hardy

Knockouts Championship
ODB vs Mickie James (c)

Mickie gets in ODB's face but ODB knocks her down, then Mickie hits a dropkick but ODB hits her in the corner and heads up top. Mickie takes her down with a snapmare and chokes her on the ropes, then ODB goes for a near fall before Mickie kicks her in the stomach. Mickie taunts the crowd but ODB hits a fallaway slam, then she kips up while Mickie calls for a time out but ODB tries to pull her back in by the hair. Mickie pulls her legs and gets her caught in between the ring skirt, but ODB hits some open handed chops and knocks her back as we go to a break. We get back to see Mickie hit a neckbreaker for two, then she goes for another pin before kicking ODB in the head and whipping her into the corner. ODB kicks her but Mickie comes back with an elbow, then she goes for a headscissors but ODB counters with a powerbomb that evokes a referee's count. They both get up and ODB dares Mickie to hit her, then she takes a few punches before dropping Mickie with a clothesline and delayed vertical suplex. ODB goes for a corner splash but Mickie kicks her in the face, then she sets up a tornado DDT on the turnbuckles but ODB counters with BAM! for the win.

Winner and NEW Knockouts Champion - ODB

Eric Young vs Robbie E

Eric Young and Joseph Park run out and celebrate with her, but Bro Mans cut them off and Robbie asks what the hell is going on around here. He says EY should be there since he's married to ODB, but Park is a third wheel hamster, so he wants to congratulate them on having the creepiest threesome there is. Robbie pretends to puke but Park screams at them, and he says how dare they insult the new champion and her marriage. Park says he'd teach them a lesson if he wasn't wearing his suit, then Robbie says that sounds like a challenge but Park says that's not the case. EY says Park's wearing a suit but he's not, then he calls for the ref to ring the bell and immediately ducks a clothesline and rolls Robbie up for the win.

Winner - Eric Young

Joseph Park vs Robbie E

Robbie screams at EY and says that doesn't count because he didn't challenge him, then he says he wants to fight Park and tells him to get in the ring. Park shrugs it off and starts to leave, but Robbie calls him a fat Bar Steward and says he's scared so Park takes his jacket off and walks towards the ring as we cut to a break. We get back from a break to see the bell ring and Robbie charges the corner, but the same thing happens again with Park ducking the clothesline and rolling him up for the win. Robbie and Jessie attack them after the bell, then they throw Park outside and attack EY before throwing Park into the ringpost. They get back in the ring and stomp EY, but Park sees the blood on his face and psyches up, hitting some clotheslines before chokeslamming Jessie. Park turns and drops Robbie with a Black Hole Slam, then he snaps out of it and wonders what's going before EY raises him arm.

Winner - Joseph Park

Bully Ray comes out with the Aces and Eights and says they sound happy to see him, and they are proud of him, then he laughs and asks where Ken Anderson is. He says he wants to know if they know who he is, and he's in charge so there's nothing anybody can do about it, but he does need to thank someone. Bully looks at each of the Aces before saying Brooke is the wind beneath his wings, then he says he's champion because of the love he has for her. The Aces look confused and Bully asks what's wrong, then Wes says they've done everything for him and now Bully gives credit to 'her'. Bully says that's his woman and he needs to show respect, but Garett says Wes is right because they've been with him from day one.

Bully pushes him back and says he made them both stars, and they had better not step out of line again because he will slap them in the face. He starts to walk away but Knux pulls him back, and he asks what Bully has to say about him, and he asks Bully to slap him in the face. Knux says they did everything for the club, but they are falling slowly and it's all because Bully made it about himself instead of the club. He tells Bully that they are supposed to be about 'bros before hoes', then Bully shoves him and says if he ever calls her a 'ho' again he will knock his head off. Knux gets in his face and dares him to, but Bully quickly leaves with Brooke and talks trash to Knux while Garett and Wes try to keep him in check.

Gunner (w/ James Storm) vs Hernandez (w/ Chavo Guerrero)

Gunner punches Hernandez and sends him into the ropes, but Hernandez knocks him down and hits him with some forearm shots and throws him into the corner. Hernandez whips him across the ring and slams him on the mat, then he goes for a running splash but Gunner gets his knees up to block it. Gunner hits him a few times before Hernandez clotheslines him, then he goes for a corner clothesline but Gunner backdrops him onto the apron. Hernandez hits him a few times and hits a running shoulder tackle, then they trade several punches before Hernandez goes for a suplex. Guuner blocks it and hits a slingshot suplex off the ropes, then he hits a few clotheslines and a corner splash before hitting a fallaway slam and a backbreaker for the win.

Winner - Gunner

Main Event Mafia vs EGO

Daniels attacks Joe from behind but Joe punches him in the corner, then he kicks him in the back before Daniels rolls outside and tries to regroup. Kaz ends up tagging in so Joe chops him in the corner, then he whips him across the ring and Magnus punches Kaz as he gets in. Joe backsplashes him on the way out and Magnus follows with a forearm shot, then he hits an uppercut and allows Sting to hit a dropkick in the corner. Sting follows Kaz outside and whips him into the steps, then he rolls him back in and kicks him before whipping him and hitting an atomic drop. Sting backs up and avoids some interference by Roode and Daniels, and he throws some elbows but Daniels ends up tripping him and Kaz hits him from behind. We get back from a break to see Roode hold Sting so Kaz can punch him, then they distract the ref and attack Sting in the corner before Daniels applies a headlock.

Sting tries to fight out but Daniels kicks him and tags out, then Kaz applies a front facelock but Sting pushes him to his corner and reaches for a tag. Roode jumps in the way as Magnus tags in, but the ref waives it off as he didn't see it so Roode tags in and punches Sting and hits a suplex. Sting comes back with strikes to Kaz and Daniels, then he dives for a tag and Magnus hits Roode with some clotheslines and a scoop slam driver for two. Daniels breaks it up so Joe headbutts him and throws him out of the way, then Sting hits some clotheslines but Roode drops him with a DDT. Joe snapmares him into an elbow by Magnus, then Daniels attacks again but Joe throws Kaz outside and hits a suicide dive. Daniels goes to dive on him but Sting clotheslines him and splashes him, then he puts him in the Scorpion Deathlock but Roode distracts him. Roode tries to hit Sting with a baseball bat but Magnus shields him and gets hit instead, then Roode rolls up Magnus and gets the win.

Winners - EGO

AJ Styles comes out and says he fought to put TNA on the map, but Dixie Carter's daddy swooped in and bought her the company without any effort. He says Dixie took away the uniqueness of TNA, and she traded it in for quick fixes and big contracts, so it pisses him off that guys like Alex Shelley and Jay Lethal aren't there. AJ says the biggest mistake is staring her in the face, and he has a chance at the title but he doesn't have a contract. He says despite what the internet says, he's not signed, and he is going to win the title for all of the fans and he'll make Dixie pay for it. Dixie walks out and AJ tells her to say something, and she says AJ is telling the truth if he was able to come out here and do this in such a public way. She says she has a responsibilty to the fans and the company, but she owes AJ an apology, then she tells him she's sorry she let him think he was bigger than he is. Dixie tells him he is a marketing gimmick that she created, and he's been so average lately that they should call him the 'Marginal One.' She says she's glad she got to come on her show and respond to his crap, and he's lucky she let him in her house because he'd still be in a trailer. Dixie screams that the show is over, then she cuts AJ's mic off and has the crew shut the lights off, and the fans boo her as we go to black

Dixie's heel turn sounds amazing!!

That said, 4 shows left to BFG and the No 1 contender is feuding with a 48 year old woman while the champion is feuding with Garrett Bischoff, Wes Brisco and Mike Knox?

Sounds like another decent enough show though (I'll watch it later), first two matches and MEM vs Ego sound good.

Could Dixie not have just screwed AJ at BFG then cut that promo.

I get why she would be peed with the Marginal One but why the fans?

I won't be watching TNA this week then, the spoilers are becoming too annoying for me to even read, let alone the show.

One bonus: this surely would have been Hogan's role not too long ago, should signal the end. Its depressing that it would have had more impact had it been Hulk

Don't get your hopes up too much. I think Hogan was probably right behind this move. The trick with a money mark like Dixie is to fool her into thinking everything's going great.

I can just imagine Hogan, whose contract is up for renewal in a matter of weeks, seeing this as a way to get Dixie more invested in the product and more blind to its flaws, which could tip the balance in favour of renewing his deal.

Do you think Hogan has to do that to win a new deal? I personally think Hogan and his advisors will be well versed on what major Wrestling event is just around the corner...I think doing WrestleMania will be high up on his priority list
