In that case Rowley i'm going to go and write an article about how Joe Calzaghe is operating a heroin drug dealing den from his mansion, that he employs a staff of 50 slave children and is so pumped full of steroids his dong has fallen off.

Feel free Coxy am fairly confident it would be dismissed as the blatherings of a halfwit with a blatant agenda. You can probably see where I am going with this one.

I think we all agree that certain members can sometimes be ' selective ' in their presenting of arguments, and I certainly agree that we need to be careful about libellous concerns. I had occasion to edit a post a few days ago which carried unsubstantiated allegations.

On the broader issue, I find the obsession with the ins and outs of the drug testing and the manipulation of arguments to portray one fighter as Sir Lancelot and the other as the Black Prince both tiresome and tedious. I also find them, if I might put my admin cap down for a moment, disruptive and a tad selfish. However, provided everybody stays within House Rules he is entitled to express his opinions, and it falls to us to either engage debate or not read the articles.

You fellas are the lucky ones in that you can choose not to read them. Spare a thought for the mod and admin team members, whose responsibility it is to read everything which hits the front page.

I'm sure we'll find the right balance so that everybody can enjoy himself here.

He's not breaking any house rules.

Give me a few cups of coffee and i can probably report 25 posts for being libellous.

Accusing USADA of basically not testing "randomly" is a good start, that he says they won't be tested inside 14 days is basically corruption etc.

Hey admins, why not turn on my report post link so i can highlight every post that is potentially libellous? And no, i won't do it via PM as Windy asked for my number last time i did that.

Hate to think what the USADA laywers would do if they saw this topic and what D4 has to say on the matter, i mean accusing them of corruption regarding testing in FMJ vs Mosley and FMJ vs Ortiz is obviously ok.

coxy, you are always welcome to PM me.

There was a reason we ended up banging heads last week, and I explained it to you. I also told you that you are a valued member here. I'm not one for grudges, and I don't believe that you are, either.

Let's move on with a clean slate.

Agreed ?

Just because i wouldn't give you my number! Wink

Still bemused as to why D4 is allowed to post about drug testing when it's pretty clear he:

a) Has zero idea what he's on about. A new testing procedure takes years to implement. They've got new drugs being made all the time for various things (legal ones), yet they don't hit the market for years.

b) Blood tests aren't intrusive? Every tested athletes accepts it as a part of life. They will still need to give their whereabouts to the testing authorities, and i'd imagine going for a wee with a drug inspector outside the toilet is intrusive, lets not forget if the testers turn up right after/during a training session when they're dehydrated and it may take a while to go to the toilet - having a testing guy going everywhere with you is intrusive to say the least

c) Is libellous in what he says on the matter. He is basically accusing USADA of being corrupt.

Actually coxy - you're completely and utterly wrong on b)

When having a drug test, the athlete drops the trousers - (to ensure the urine is coming from the right place) (East German athletes back in the day would open their fly and use a tube fed by a bag on their back of sterile urine). As I was saying - in the middle of a toilet - more room than cubicle - you drop your trousers and pee for the A and B samples in the presence of your coach and testing official. Your coach ensures the samples aren't tampered with and are sealed - whilst you ensure...

You get the picture.

What happened to the Floyd/Testing thread? Did it turn nasty? Has it been deleted?

Seems that way. I think I may migrate to another forum if a certain someone persists on here.

Ahahahhahahaha

Sadly the admins here are far too strict

I mean how could i ever get away with saying (this has been amended to "606v2 virgin banter")

Pactard: You willy is too small

Maytard: It was big enough for your mum last night

Pactard: My mother is dead

Maytard: That would explain why i had to dig through 6ft of dirt before i was able to rabbit her like a wilderbeast

Disclaimer: I'm merely pointing out the "jist" of the video for those who can't view it at work or those who don't earn enough money to buy speakers or headphones.

Personally Steffan i think you should recite the whole thing, just so the members unfortunate enough who can't view it can sample the utter brilliance of what a Manny vs Floyd debate descends into... time and time and time and time again

Minus the swearing as you'll feel the full force of Windys wong

DO NOT RECITE THIS YOUTUBE VIDEO

DO NOT OPEN IT AT WORK OR AT SCHOOL

DO NOT SHOW IT TO FRIENDS OF A NERVOUS DISPOSITION

DO NOT SHOW IT TO YOUR MOTHER

DO NOT REDACT THIS YOUTUBE VIDEO ON HERE

Hope that's clear.
-------------------------------
That is, however - utter genius. I cried with laughter and "rabbit like a wilderbeast" is now one of my favourite phrases.

bella gerant alii. 606v2 amet! Possibly should pluralise that.
