Socks look like pints (well, more like yards) of Guinness.

Why can't we just have plain white?

Perhaps it's a cunning plan to distract the Irish come the 6N?

Might backfire with a record number of tackles completed by the Irish though.

New home kit.... Did they have a new home kit last year? Not really being fan friendly introducing a new kit every year.

Just sounds a little manipulative to me.. Trying to get the most out of loyal fans who will always buy the new shirt no matter how new their latest acquisition is.

Do many people buy new International kits? They are usually a single colour after all so any will do. Certainly, as far as I can tell from TV, English fans do not often buy their teams kits, just the Pimms and Range Rover Brigade, and they deserve to be fleeced.

Black and white? Is it a nod to the barbarians?

But why are they wearing the All Blacks socks from 1987? at least it's an improvement on wearing the entire kit like last time.

Heres the thing with white kit - Its always the same. Same with Real Madrid jerseys, take away the sponsor, and I bet no one would know the difference between the 2006 kit and the 2013 kit! Couldnt imagine buying a new jersey for that.

I guess not too bad. Considering the away strip of the past few years, I suppose I am happy they are not white with pink and chartreuse (wtf chartreuse is).

I think the jerseys clash with the green soccer boots in the picture.

Absolutely loving the design but, as hinted at above, what happens if they have to wear a black armband for something or other?

Do they have to wear a white armband over the 'midnight blue' band on the other sleeve to show that an armband is, indeed, being worn on the other arm (i.e. the arm that has not had the 'midnight blue' covered up, by white).

Do they add a second (black) armband, in addition (and above) to the 'midnight blue' armband already in situ????

Groundbreaking design, but logistical nightmare!

You do realise that england have worn black socks since the 60s and possibly even the 20s? The 1980 Grandslam was donated to them while wearing black and white socks.

There stupid dalliance with white socks is now ended.

Alright kit.

I do laugh at all the cowpat the PR people write about their shirts though, all this 'precision engineered and speciality strengthened ball deadening rip evading tackle dodging shirt' so what you're saying is it's a tight t-shirt made out of lycra?

Do need to get myself an England shirt just so I have one, i'll probaly get a cheapy off Ebay though...

Quite like that, looks good. My only ongoing objection is the red rose. Should be a Tudor rose, won't catch me wearing a Lancastrian one.

Red looks a bit tacky on a England shirt.Wink

Should be an all white kit apart from the socks.
