Froch - Kessler 3 - Would you guys accept this fight next ??

Have a feeling we may be looking at this fight next !!............Ward or Groves should be the ticket............But Kessler 2 sold big and was a great fight..............Froch-Groves 2 probably means the end of one of Hearn's prized assets....and Groves is a prized asset now !!......and Froch probably goes to the States for Ward again If at all.........If Ward saw the cards on Saturday night he probably is even more determined not to come over..

Kessler - Froch 3........(.Probably means milking Froch for two more PPVs instead of one..........Groves can win the WBO version too perhaps..)

1. Does it mean anything........Would it feel like a kop out??.......Would Hearn If he made it....... not understand the public mood..

The casual fan didn't watch Froch v Kessler I, and they were satisfied by Froch and Kesselr II. Nobody is satisfied with Froch v Groves except for Froch and his bank account. Froch v Groves II will be forced if Froch stays active. He will get an extra half mill or so, so will George and they can take it to a football stadium to make up the money. A rematch could sell 40,000 tickets at Old Trafford or 35,000 at Froch's beloved Nottingham Forest

Tbh I struggle to see why anyone would pay to watch a Froch fight on PPV again. The fight at the weekend will hang over him like a dark cloud.

Maybe a GGG or Hopkins fight could sell (excluding a Groves rematch), but that would be more the opponent selling it. The ref (and Carls mannerism of refusing the handshake added with his stupid comments) have etched bad blood between Froch and the public.

99.9% of the people watching agree that the stoppage was ridiculous. Tunes being the 0.1% who disagrees with the public.

Kessler would be a kop out at this stage although you wouldnt be totally surprised if it happened.

The crap that went on in the Groves fight damages the credibility of the sport but it doesnt harm it in its pockets one bit. A rematch now will be all the bigger for controversy. Its the biggest money fight available to both fighters by some distance. Much bigger than the first fight.

I was surprised how the crowd turned on the guy after the fight......Didn't help himself with some of his patronising comments..

I can see Winner-takes-all........Froch-Kessler 3 selling.........Big market of sports fans who will buy into it..

Think that's harsh Dee. The stoppage had nothing to do with froch. He was in an exciting fight (yet again) and was dropped, hit a million times, got rough with Groves, then ended up turning the fight around from the 7th onwards and got a stoppage "victory".

Id pay to see him against Kessler and Groves of the three fights are anything to go by!

I would like to see Groves v Kessler , groves has sparred with him do must have idea how to beat him, like Froch age is catching up with Kessler and it would be a good solid former world champ on his CV. I think personally Froch should retire knowing he avenged one of his defeats and the other was to # 2 p4p , go out as IBF and WBA world champ happy with his career.

So are you saying Froch will lose or have a very high chance of losing against groves in a rematch? Because a rematch would be worth millions and if froch thought he could win he would take it.

Froch doesn't rematch groves only if froch is scared of losing to groves.

I'm one of the growing few who think froch wins easier next time........Whether his camp agree or not is the main thing..

The fans were satisfied with Froch v Kessler II. Froch would beat Kessler again in my opinion, it would be the same as the 2nd fight, so can't see why people would really want to see it again. Hearn would try and give it the spin that it's worth PPV, but quite frankly it's not.

Froch v Golovkin wouldn't sell, GGG is relatively unknown amongst casuals. Froch v Hopkins is a stinker of a fight, the only fights that make sense for Froch are the Ward/Groves rematches. Think he'll go for Ward, and he'll get humiliated, that'll be nice to see.

I cant see Ward happening. Ward wont come to the UK, Froch wont go to the US. Its not a great fight anyhow. Not really interested in seeing it again. A rematch with Groves would be top of my list or else a fight with Kovalov. Past then then Stevenson or even Degale. But Hearn will definately want to keep Froch selling tickets in the UK on pay per view so that probably rules out quite a few options. In the unlikely even that Bellew beat Stevenson then thats a fight Im sure Hearn would look at.

Froch would win the third fight as Kessler is totally shot and no doubt this would lead to 'I beat him twice he beat me once that means I never lost to him bla bla' nonsense from the Slimester

Im all for Froch taking on Ward just to see him get beaten up even more but I guess if Eddie Hearn is gonna carry on ripping people of with the PPV then a rematch with Groves would be more competitive

Satisfied? Not really, but I'd understand it. I'm not anxious for George to take Froch on again, I'd like to see him beat Steigletz or Bika.

I mentioned yesterday that it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Matchroom issued a statement sayting that Groves was proving to be "difficult" in negotiating a rematch and they were forced to offer Kessler a rematch.

By the way, has anyone heard any unashamed Froch supporters either on here or elsewhere come out and and say that their man was very, very lucky on Saturday?

Mobile has moved Froch up to 4 in the ATG lists. He's behind Floyd Jnr, Floyd Snr and Roger. So to answer your question, NO.

The only PPV fight Froch can realistically sell is against Groves.

Groves is doing a good job with the media at the minute hyping the rematch a bit.

Froch may have no choice here

Can't accept it. Groves deserves his rematch or as Hearn said a shot at a title (assuming Stieglietz?).

If Groves was secured a legitimate title shot then I would accept Kessler 3 with a unification after.

Could you imagine Froch vs Kessler 3 with the co-main event being Groves vs Stieglitz with the two meeting in the ring after to set up the rematch! Wishful thinking but would be brilliant and secure two huge UK events for 2014.

Froch has had one of if the most respectful run of opponents for the last 4-5 years so shouldn't get bashed for ducking until their next fights are signed.

Kessler v Froch is a bad fight for fans and for Kessler. Kessler is shot. He turned pro at 19 and has had a lot of fights, 49 versus Froch's 32. Froch has been in a lot of wars and that is starting to show but Kessler has less in the tank.

I also don't like the idea of sacrificing an all around great guy like Kessler. Prime for prime I would pick Kessler to beat Froch, not now though. Calzaghe beats Froch comfortably.

Theres never been a point that i'd have thought Froch would beat Calzaghe - however with Kessler there is that little bit of a chance - Best for best I'd say they'd split a couple of fights and Kessler would win the decider

Barry would be worse that wasn't my point, too many vested interests. That didn't stop him taking over the chairmanship of snooker and darts though.
