Has it finally been done on the ET?

Just had a quick look at the European Tour website, mainly to see if there'd been any play. Their headline article features Oliver Bekker, who shot 66 to grab the lead, apparently. Yet if you look at the leaderboard, Jorge Campillo is at the top at -11, following a level par round 1 with a 59!

Article on it up there now I see. Like buses - don't get one for 40 odd years then two come along at once, only they're out of service! 77, 59 for Nel, quite a turnaround!

Course has been shortened quite considerably I think too.

And it's the second year running that this tourney has been reduced to 54 holes. Sunshine Tour? Yeah, right. Should be called the PGA Tour.

wasn't one of the par-4's reduced to a par-3 as well?  I haven't had a chance to watch, but thought I heard that.

A couple of twos on a 320 yard hole .I, sure the weather is better than here

Al Geiberger's 59 was Lift Clean and Place.  But par 72 and 7000+ yd golf course.  with 1977 vintage equipment.

This tournament was reduced to 36 holes last year, not 54.
