Kurt Angle has finally accepted his TNA hall of fame induction and it will take place in London at Wembley Arena. Angle stated that he felt he had now accomplished what he set out to do, after refusing his induction at BFG. What was that? ...beating Bobby Roode in a steel cage match! What better compliment could Kurt Angle pay Roode? Being the first gold medal olympic wrestler in professional wrestling, being a multiple time world champion (including winning the TNA world title five times), being arguably the biggest marquee name on the TNA roster...all of that and it still wasn`t enough for Angle to feel he was worthy. But after losing to Roode 3 times in a row, he finally earns his place in the TNA hall of fame. Good for you Roode.    

When they started this whole storyline I thought it would culminate in a Kurt Angle title win, and once that happened Angle would finally feel like he 'deserved' his HOF spot.

As it is, I was miles off because we now know that the truest measure of any Hall of Famer is to beat Bobby Roode in a cage match, regardless of how many times the 'It Factor' has beaten you in the preceding weeks/months/years.

Congratulations to Kurt Angle for finally conquering his demon and congratulations to Bobby Roode for being recognised as the official gatekeeper to the TNA Hall of Fame   

Yeah. The reasoning is a bit naff...but you have to concede it was a pretty good match.

Can't believe a beat-up old duffer like Angle is still managing moonsaults off the top of the cage. Think he deserves HOF status for that alone!
