I did but it wasn't, Dante will be available by the end of season 1 so went for someone more expensive who I wouldn't be able to sign in this league for a long time.

Damiao is one of them and he is already in my Santos squad.

And its Hernanes, seems an ideal fit in my midfield.

Lucas and Gustavo too expensive compared to Fernando (Shakhtar again) who's value will be higher as this league progresses.

He was in decent form at times though. underrated, overrated, end of the day hes got the tekkers but never done anything on the big stage.

I don't see why he won't be on decent form for Inter then. The whole standard of the Inter side will improve with his signing!

Hernanes has been one of the best playmakers in Serie A over the last 3 or 4 year.

There aren't many with his ability to control a game in Italy.

And he has looked really good in both his games for Inter so far. They looked a bit all over the place until he arrived and he seems to have hit the ground running. He looked really good in his first two games and Mazzarri has heaped the praise on him. IF they had him at the start of the season, they would be much closer to the 4 above them

We're lucky to have seen him play in our life time, I feel sorry for the kids growing up now they'll never see a player like him. In 20 years time people will say oh how good is so and so, I'll just smile and quitley say you never seen Scholes play and walk off.

People are like that now, talking about Sir Tom Finney.

There's not enough of footage of the great Sir Tom Finney but with Scholes they'll be able to watch archives of him and they'll say wow Scholes was a proper Footballer. I still miss him.

The Italian's (and the Spanish apparantly) laugh at us for bigging up players like Scholes.

My Uncle says the slightest sign of an English player who can pass the ball a little bit and score a few goals, we praise them as being the technical equals to the likes of Rivera, Del Piero or Pirlo.

Haha Bianconeri I agree we quickly hype a player in England if he shows a little of the technical side but it's also the same in England where we underate our own players and highly overate foreign players. I've grown up preferring Italian football to England and I'm sorry Del Boy and Pirlo are not in Scholes class. Rivera was before my time and I know he was supposed to be a great player.
