SRU (the joke which is the Scottish Rugby Union)

We hear the SRU are promoting the game amongst the youth , and plan to win next years world cup.  

I think not   

In last 2 weeks;-

England under 20s 67 wales 7
Wales under 20s 43 Scotland 15

and today

Wales 51 Scotland 3

Things are really looking up.   

NOT

wtf doenst someone get the boot and or resign ??

I have no idea what the problem is with Scottish rugby, your a bit like France, you have talented players yet it never happens on the field.

How many coaches are you guys going to sack before you put the finger of blame on the players?

With the benefit of hindsight you can see coaches make tactical mistakes but very often it's the players not playing to their full potential is what is letting Scotland down.

I wonder if Vern Cotter is having second thoughts?

Firstly no one at the SRU is responsible for the empty space that appears to be between the ears of our best player nor are they responsible for the pathetic capitulation that we saw between 30 and 60 minutes from the rest of the players however it is the SRU that are responsible for:

1. Allowing that Australian Baffoon control of our national team, the centrepiece of Scottish rugby, for over a year at a time when we had a very talented group of players coming through
2. Employing Andy Robinson as head coach when he had already showed he couldn't get the best from an international side
3. Actively encouraging a situation in which we have just two teams full of foreign players without seeking to improve the situation
4. Not ever seeking to improve an antiquated system that doesn't bring through enough quality players
5. Not encouraging the game to spread to other parts of the country

As Einstein said the definition of Insanity is "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."


But don't worry Scott Johnson is being promoted for all of his hard work
