RJJ vs Lebedev

What round with the once great Roy Jones Jnr get knocked out?

R2 for me.

Fair play to Roy boxing with his hands down.

Someone needs to tighten those ropes.

Can't see it going more that 3 more rounds.

I would back Cuningham and Huck to beat Lebedev.

Well he saw out 4 rounds. Whats worse - a 5 round KO or a 10 round decision from someone who couldn't have laced up his gloves in his prime?

This Lebedev boy is poor, must admit 1st time Im seeing him fight but even an ancient Jones is still sliping most of his punches.
Jones though does look like an old man never mind an old fighter. No bounce in his step or snap in his punces. Kinda depressing reallly

Lebedev is looking really poor needs to up the work rate.

Huck absolutely jobbed Lebedev in one of the worst decisions I and boxing have ever seen a couple of months ago. Lost nearly every round, won a split decision. Unsurprisingly the fight was in Germany.

He was but Huck wasn't at his best that night I would fancy Huck to win a rematch.

watching his old highlight reels in comparison to the current Roy is staggering, nobody that has declined half this much should still be fighting.

Id throw Danny Green in with a shout of beatin Lebedev judging solely on this performance mind you.

I watch more of the lower weghts but I did see that fight Lebedev was robbed I thought Huck had an off night though and I would back him to win a rematch.

Looks like it could be stopped in the later rounds here but Lebedevs looked slow and not very powerful at all. Prime RJJ would have him for breakfast. Fights like this are killing boxing.

Not sure why. Huck is gash. Anyone with a half decent skillset has a chance against him. Lebedev has that - he's compact, doesn't overreach his punches, good work to the body, just too slow a work rate for me. Gets away with it because he's a lefty. Anyway - telling that Huck's team haven't wanted any more to do with Lebedev thus far.

Although Lebedev looks average tonight. Like a man who's carrying a legend through 10 rounds for no apparent purpose...

No-one should doubt his courage. His common sense, however...

Only judging them by what I've seen of them which isn't much tbh. I will bow to your superior knowledge of two fighters that by the sounds of it you don't rate that highly either.

I could see it happening. Was horrible hope he's alright.

That was cheap from Lebedev. Not impressed.

10th round KO for Lebedev. RJJ rocked Lebedev a couple of times in the last few rounds though. Clean and brutal KO though, needed to bring him round with smelling salts, let's pray he calls it quits after that.

Good point probably best they didn't DQ him then the last thing I want to see is Jones fight again.

Ref didn't jump in, allowed it to happen, but agreed Lebedev shouldn't have thrown the last one.

Lebedev did hesitate- the ref looked indecisive.

Either RJJ retires now, or the boxing commission (whoever it may be) take his boxing licence away from him. RJJ is not just destroying himself, he's destroying boxing.

Agreed. Cheap and dangerous.

Seeing the replay what was the ref doing! Just stood there while Roy was almost unconscious and still getting hit with shots.

i'd blame the ref more than lebedev. slightly strange situation though with jones unconscious but still verticle

Not heard anything about financial trouble think he might just have thought he could take advantage of a very poor division.

please retire Roy. I can't stand people doing this to him that he would have beat with his eyes closed in his prime.

I don't think he's blown enough to say he is in financial trouble but i think he's had 1 or 2 divorces that must of set him back quiet a bit.

Glad to see RJJ fine. Hopefully it's the end for him before something even worse happens.

Sat through 8 and a half rounds of pure guff, fell asleep and missed the last round and a half, typical.

Lebedev shouldn't be proud of his peformance he looked poor for 9 rounds of the fight. RJJ didn't take anything good out of this and tbh I don't think Lebedev did.

I'd expect them to cheer it, of course, but i always find it to be in bad taste when a fighter is left on the canvas while people celebrate. That, and the fact that Lebedev beat a guy who should have quit four or five years ago and who no-one gave a chance of making it past the halfway mark.
