Went for Seymour - thought overall he was our most dangerous back - played well in all three games and read the game better than most

Also the interceptions changed the games

Rob Harley for me. Grafted tbroughout, has grown into the 6 role above very experienced and capable team mates. Plus, he's developed his line out role too. Still plenty of room to improve to improve, he could have a devastating 6N and WC. Russell, Ford, Laidlaw and Seymour good second places.

I love the fact that there is a genuine debate to be had as to whom it should be. Amazing.

Compare this to a few years ago when we handed out the Andy Henderson Award for Least Skilful Back or the Graham Morrison Award for Most Speed Lost In Contact. Holy moly. Pinch me.

I went for Finn Russell. He showed composure and a bit of confidence that we haven't seen much of from a fly half since Toonie. (I think Toonie had a better running game but Finn has a better all round game)

Harley for me as well. Both Grays were excellent in the first two games but I felt they faded a little in the 3rd Test. Cowan was strong 2nd and 3rd Test but got subbed early in the 1st. Laidlaw was superb against Argentina and Tonga (2nd half) but just shaded by Harley who was consistently good throughout.

Harley - starting to carry the ball a bit too now, but most importantly a total nuisance at the breakdown for the opposition. For all our improving attack work, slowing the opponents ball down in the 6nations and beyond will be key.
