Andy Powell injury blow for Wales Empty Andy Powell injury blow for Wales

Wales number eight Andy Powell will miss Saturday's Six Nations trip to Scotland after damaging his shoulder in the opening defeat by England.
Wing Morgan Stoddart, however, could be fit for the Murrayfield clash despite suffering a fracture to a bone in his hand in Friday's 26-19 loss in Cardiff.
Orthopaedic opinion has granted Wales' only try-scorer against England a little extra time to prove his fitness.

But Cardiff Blues wing Chris Czekaj has been called in to cover for Stoddart.
"Morgan has been given a window of opportunity," said Wales physiotherapist Mark Davies.

"If his symptoms settle down we will clear him to play subject to a fitness review later in the week."
Powell suffered an injury to the acromioclavicular joint of his shoulder in the first half of Wales' uninspiring performance against England.

"Andy needs a period of rest now, but if all goes well he should be back in contention for the Italy game at the end of the month," added Davies.
