Pacquiao vs Bradley 3?

It's looking likely that the top two welterweights in the world will face off for Pacquiao's retirement fight. How do we see this one going?

If Pac's shoulder is okay, I can only see a continuation of the narrative. Gotta give Bradley some credit. He'll never have to work again because of a series he's been completely outclassed in

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bradley turn the tables (legitimately) this time. That would be the best scenario for the division, as we'd be left with a top man for the likes of Porter, Brook and Thurman to shoot for.

There is nothing saying that this is happening yet

Pacquiaio will win again if his shoulder is fine

Teddy atlas is constantly slagging pacquiaio off so it will be nice to see him show us how it is done if he can which I doubt

If manny has anything left he'll beat the brakes off him for a 3rd time. On paper it looks like this fight is wanted to rubber stamp the series winner. I don't know about you guys, buts its a care less match up to me.

I tend to agree Jim, we all know who the better man is and it's just another example of Arum making an in house match up.

Pacquiao points.

Arum will be hoping Bradley or Crawford can win to become his new flagship fighter.

If bradley boxes and doesn't try and trade and attempt to throw ridiculous power shots he can't even throw....then he can out box pacquiao.

Do you really buy into Pac's bad shoulder? Lets cast our minds back to when it supposedly happened and it wasn't until the Mayweather fight that it was a problem, even though he'd had several wins leading up to that fight. Lets not start making excuses for Pac, if he genuinely has a problem with his shoulder then he shouldn't be fighting.

All his eggs will be in the Crawford basket; Bradley is too old and eminently beatable.

I don't know. Maybe he only pretended to have surgery. Maybe the surgeon was just an actor. We can debate the merits of how bad it actually was for the Mayweather fight, but athletes arent in the habit of going under the knife for the sake of maintaining a charade

Thats not what I'm saying, Roach came out and said that the injury had happened a couple of years before and it wasn't until the loss to Mayweather that they came out with their excuse or the mention of the shoulder causing them problems. Just a bit of a coincidence that it was only a problem when he faced his best opponent and was comprehensibly outboxed.

If his shoulder has not recovered then he should not fight until it has.

The shoulder injury was an excuse. Not saying he didn't have a minor problem.

He threw his right hand fast and hard, so I'm not buying that.

I have a minor shoulder problem. I can work around it but if I was told to push it to the max it would be my weak point and probably give. I should probably stop and get it sorted but I don't. Much like many pro athletes, sometimes you just have to accept a bit of a niggle get on with it.

From what I saw though I can't make a case for things being different even if Pac was 100%.

Okay thats all great, but this isnt about the Mayweather fight. Its about the Bradley fight. He might have been 100% for the Mayweather fight, but he's still had surgery. The answer when asking how an athlete has been affected by a surgery is always "I don't know". Especially when the surgery is around the shoulder or hip, which by virtue of being multi axial joints are relatively unstable to begin with

I don't actually think that Manny will fight again. And Bradley is seemingly still chasing a name.

I kinda get it

Pacquiao os clearly the better fighter because I think I scored both fights 117-111 or 116-112  in favour of pac but I enjoyed both fights particularly the 2nd where bradley seemed to be punching a lot harder and wouldn't mind watching them go at it again.

Bradley has got some confidence behind him after a good few wins and is genuinely a top welter,  maybe the 2nd best in the division behind manny.

And from mannys side he's older than when they last fought, coming off a loss and an injury that has kept him away so yea should be a competitive fight

I like crawford but I don't see the heir apparantly to the p4p title like some. He's had big size advantages over most of his opponents and before he started bullying gambo he was being out boxed by gambo the first 3/4 rounds easily enough

Manny is bigger, stronger, more experienced and superior offensively and defensively than gambo who is a very poor defensive fighter, so can't see manny losing to crawford unless he's really declined

Hopefully Manny will pick someone else...He's already beaten the guy twice and Bradley is about as interesting as synchronised swimming..

Manny has had a wonderful career and perhaps should retire..

Bradley may not have a personality but can't say his fighting style is dull

Provodnnikov, Rios, Chaves,  JMM, Mammy II and even vargas werent exactly dull

count me in the couldn't care less club.
