It's so bizarre that our countries are so close and so linked to each other yet there is this massive sport that 99% of us here have next to zero awareness of.

I might get a weekly pass to Sky Sports to watch Yorkshire v Middlesex in the cricket next week - so I'll take in that match too if I do.

What is it? The final of a knockout tournament - or a top 2 teams in a league playoff kind of thing?

It's like when my missus mentions "footie" and she means Aussie Rules. Or I guess Americans with their NFL and Baseball - basically two sports that they play and no one else does. Aussie Rules baffles me

There is a 4 division league and a All Ireland knock out tournament, Dublin won the league already and are now in the final of the all Ireland

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship

Its the same with hurling, I love watching hurling it's such a fast and physical, just YouTube it Very Happy

GAA football is a lot like Aussie rules but with some differences, they do an International Rules series between the two sports every 2 years and it gets nasty Laugh

Dossing about. Little girl having her nap so I'm really chilling out - reading a mag, listening to the cricket.

Love an ikea trip. Much damage to the wallet? I always end up buying loads more than intended

Yeah see the replay with be about 5.30ish on the 1st October at Croke park (I have now used up all the chat i had on GAA, sky sports news didnt go into more detail ha ha)

The thing with ikea is the ooohhh try this, why am i teying every bed and couch when all i can in for was a bathroom mirror. WHYYYYYYYYY

Then they ask your opinion, oh this will look good in hall, you give an honest opinion of no, growelled at, so next time your asked you say yeah, sure looks fine, Growelled at.

You can never win in that shop.

I have never had the meatballs, i like to get my weekly allowance of horse from Crispy pancakes.

I hate how it forces you to go through every section of the store to get to the checkout. Imagine that in Tescos, yeah we know all you want is a ready meal but first you've got to look at the fish counter and electrical appliances.

Thats my favourite but about Aldi though, the fact that i can get a 100 yards of electrical cabling, a fishing rod, a yo yo and a self massaging kit while getting my messages.

Morning Gents!

Love IKEA. Love meatballs with the lingonberry sauce and the white gravy.
Love Lidl for the same reason Nay likes Aldi - and you can get little toys free with every £10 you spend. Unfortunately you do need to buy a banquet fit for Henry VII to spend anything more than £20

Morning Gents!

I haven't been to IKEA for years and would never consider eating there - In the same way that my local B&Q has a cafe but it's not why I go there

Living in the north I'm spoilt for choice with Aldis and Lidl's - Walk in grab a pastry and peruse the aisles

Our Lidl is quite upmarket in appearance - don't know if that's a nationwide thing or a Hertfordshire thing - knowing we're all snobs and wouldn't step inside if there was a cardboard box out of place

Love having evenings to myself, where you can stay in the bath as long as you like, stretch out in bed, have food and drink paid for and watch as many art movies as you like lol
