best test side, in sub-contient contient conditions

what is the side that you think would do well in sub-contienet conditions, only using current players in test match, cricket, based on technique, averages etc.... mine is

1)Tamim Iqbal
2)Tillkaratne Dilshan (c)
3)Brendom McCullum (WK)
4)Sachin Tendulkar
5)VVS Laxman
6)Jacques Kallis
7)Angelo Matthews
8)Graeme Swann
9)Ajantha Mendis
10)Zaheer Khan
11)Dale Steyn

Swann has played 4 Tests in Asia, two of which where against Bangladesh, so he's hardly worth consideration.

No Warne didn't struggle in Asia, he struggled vs India.

Warne record vs Bangladesh, SL and Pak:

vs Bangladesh 11 wickets @ 27 with 1 5 wicket haul
vs SL 48 wickets @ 20 with 6 5 wicket hauls plus 3 10 wicket hauls.
vs Pak 18 wickets @ 28 with 2 5 wicket hauls.

Plus 2 Tests played in UAE vs Pak:

18 wickets @ 9 with 1 5 wicket haul.

Not too bad if you ask me.

I've seen plenty thanks Sonic, I wouldnt be moderator of the section if I knew nothing.

In terms of Swann's bowling, he constantly has the batsman in trouble, thery always hgave to think when they're facing him and as a result in my opinion that makes him threatening and has contributed to his success.

2. T.M. Dilshan (one of the most improved players around)
3. Hashim Amla (a run machine in Asia)
4. Sachin Tendulkar (no reason needed)
5. Jacques Kallis (no reason needed)
6. V.V.S. Laxman (man for a crisis)
7. Kumar Sangakkara (w/k) (awesome batter and adds balance if w/k)
8. Daniel Vettori (great guy and great player).
9. Zaheer Khan (master with the new ball, demon when it reverses)
10. Dale Steyn (King of fast bowling)
11. Saeed Ajmal (unpickable when bowling well, doosra to die for)

It was a toss up of Dilshan or Dhoni.

II went for Dilshan, as Sehwag and Dilshan would be one hell of a show if they came off.

If Dhoni was in my side, Amla would open, Sanga would go in at 3 and Dhoni at 7 also captain and w/k.
