Raw Spoilers 13/6 Empty Raw Spoilers 13/6

Post by AberdeenSteve Tue 14 Jun - 7:27

WWE All Stars Night on RAW kicks off with the pyro and music going off in the arena as Michael Cole welcomes us to the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York. Jerry Lawler hypes Steve Austin as tonight’s special guest General Manager. Austin has already made CM Punk vs. John Cena as tonight’s main event.

- We go to the ring and out comes The Miz in a suit.

They show clips from last week as Miz enters the ring. Miz talks about tonight’s big show and mentions how he won the main event last week on RAW. Miz says he is the all-time WWE All Star, but that’s been obvious for a long time, he says. Miz says you would have to be a stupid moron not to realize that. In other words, you would have to be Alex Riley, Miz says. Miz calls Riley a fraud and says he will expose him more than a tweet from Anthony Weiner at Capitol Punishment. Miz says he will teach Riley one last lesson before the pay-per-view. Miz tells Riley to watch closely as he calls out Steve Austin. Miz says there’s always an Attitude Era star trying to steal his spotlight, jealous of his success. Miz says Austin owes him an apology. Miz says his show will not get started until… the glass breaks and out comes Steve Austin marching to the ring.

Austin comes out to a big pop and hits the turnbuckles for the fans. Miz eyes Austin as he goes around the ring. Austin mocks Miz’s weak attempt at calling him out. Austin starts ripping on Miz’s look and what he’s wearing. Austin tells Miz to shut up. Austin says the night after WrestleMania, he let Miz run his mouth in this ring because he wanted to see what he had, if he was that good. Austin gives Miz some credit and calls him a silver tongued devil. Austin says when it came time to fight, Miz ran to the back. Miz tries to interrupt but Austin cuts him off. Austin tells Miz to keep his mouth shut while his is moving. Austin says Miz is going to respect him. Austin says he came here to run the show but he’s got an itchy trigger finger and if he’s got to stun Miz, he will.

Austin talks about fighting with Alex Riley months ago but gives him credit. Austin says Riley can talk, he can take an ass whopping and he can give one. Austin says he’s so impressed with Riley that he might be a bigger Superstar than Miz one day. Miz asks if he can speak now and Austin says no. Austin asks if he should stun this sumbitch, give him a hell yeah. The crowd responds accordingly. Austin asks Miz if he and Riley are going to whip each other’s ass this Sunday. Austin grabs Miz by his tie and says he’s going to set something up for Miz and Riley. Austin is putting Miz and Riley in the ring with Roddy Piper for Piper’s Pit tonight. Austin says he’s through talking with Miz and if he knows what’s good for him, he will take his ass out of here now. Miz stares at Austin while moving towards the ring. Austin tells him he better get to stepping. Austin tells him now is not the time to be a hero. Miz finally leaves the ring and Austin says it’s the best decision he’s ever made. Austin says this is WWE Monday Night All Stars, or whatever the hell they want to call it. Austin says he is making the rules tonight when Alberto Del Rio’s music hits. Del Rio comes into the arena driving a 2009 Porsche.

Del Rio makes his way to the ring and introduces himself to Austin. Del Rio wants to make it official – tonight is the greatest Superstar of his time Steve Austin, passing the torch to the greatest Superstar of all-time Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio says he heard Austin wants to see him. Del Rio steps up to Austin and says it must be because he wants to see greatness up close. Del Rio says it’s his destiny but Austin cuts him off. Austin says he isn’t much of a fortune teller, isn’t a psychic and doesn’t have a crystal ball but he smells an ass whooping as Del Rio’s immediate destiny. Austin says there’s been a sumbitch backstage who’s wanted Del Rio’s ass since he took Big Show out of action. Austin introduces Del Rio’s opponent and out comes Kane.

No Ryder on a Long Island Raw? Are you serious bro?!

Seriously though, why not include him in even a tiny backstage segment? From what I see, Raw was pretty packed, but could he not have had some time instead of the Obama press conference parody?

No, but he was on a Long Island Superstars in a match v Primo, and he got the loudest cheer of the night!

It was an entertaining enough show, Austin really played the guest GM well imo.

Miz is sort of being pushed and crushed at the same time, he is rubbing shoulders and promoing with real legends and huge stars but never really getting the best of them.

His section with Riley was stupid, I thought Piper was one of the biggest heels ever (before my time) yet he is siding with the face and being the face in a match? Miz needs to thrash Riley at the PPV and continue the feud if he is to remain serious - either that or a gimmick change (or maybe mr MITB again?).

R truth continued with some good work, the section with Morrison was very good imo. Christian and Orton promo very good and quite cutting.

Cena and Punk putting on a good match with some good R Truth interference, again setting up the PPV match.

Not a whole load of quality wrestling, with so many promo sections with the big names the mid level guys should've been allowed to put on some good matches instead of the like of Sheamus squashing Santino.

I was entertained anyway, Raw has been fairly solid this year imo.

I'll get slayed for this but i've always found Piper to be overated. Never really seen what all the fuss was about, he never really done anything of any real note. I certainly cant think of 5 memorable Piper moments. Ok his fued with Flair was entertaining and i enjoyed his match with Bret Hart for the IC Title, but other than that he's always just been an average midcarder for me.

He started the whole Rock n Wrestling back in the mid 80s, his program with Hogan was the hottest feud in Wrestling, his feud with Mr T, the whole thing with Adriane Adonis and his feud with Bad News Brown, his matches with Greg Valentine in 83/84 where some of the most brutal in the business, if people judge Piper from the 90s onward then its a no-brainer he'd appear overrated

With RAW being advertised as 3 hours do you think its stupid as an hour is adverts or is that jut here?

Also read on NODQ that the best matvh was after RAW went off air seems madness to do that why wouldnt they show this? see below link

But when you consider that there are just as many adverts per so many minutes for the 2 hour Raw the show is still longer.

Need to leave the crowd happy I guess. I watched Raw before I read this thread, actually had me believing that Truth might win at Cap-Pun what with Punk winning. Then I read the street fight stuff and facepalmed again.

Alot of hate for the production team after leaving Zack Ryder off raw from Chris Jericho of all people http://nodq.com/wwe/310080381.shtml

No need to face palm, 999 times out of 1000 the top face will win the dark match ME, it means absolutely nothing

I do hate it when people make judgements on a TV show they clearly haven't seen....

Raw was fairly enjoyable I thought. Austin was great as the guest host. I agree with the negative comments towards Piper whilst he look in great shape he spoke like a crazed only made & was completely owned by the Miz on the stick. It was disappointing considering how good he was last time he appeared with Cena.

I wish the Miz Riley fued would of been played out for longer... Has A Ri even won a match on Raw yet all of a sudden he's in the semi main event slot? Why didn't they give him a few wins on Raw then maybe a couple of pay per view wins before setting up the big match with Miz at Summerslam.

Any idea who Cena was addressing before he made his way to the ring? He said he loved someone & would meet them for a beer upstairs??? Was it Austin??? Macho Man???

Just watching it now. Loved Miz reaction to the what chants. "Are you gonna start that already? That was cool in 2001 by the way." Haha, brilliant
