BVR is a huge loss. If he wasn't South African he'd be an international regular.

How is that even a yellow!!! The guy was falling to the ground. Barnes has made a few dodgy calls. Missed 3 neck rolls for Irish aswell!!

All teams have foreign players - I'm not quite getting the relevance of the number of different nationalities? And as mentioned if other 'big' teams didn't keep plundering LI's academy output they wouldn't need to go shopping elsewhere so much ...

Does seem to be creeping into officials thinking that a dropped ball is automatically thought of as forwards a lot of the time. Thinking about that Steward drop in the SA game.

And conversely a ball that's clearly gone forwards is called backwards just because the player is facing towards his own posts

I think Sam Vesty pretty much carries the rest of the coaching team with his attacking game plan. To be fair Dowson does a decent job with the forwards.

I know, but there’s an attack focus, then there’s being completely unstructured. The amount of tries we have conceded with no resistance at all this season is crazy.

And if that pass was forwards how was Glaws first try ruled as OK?

Was that the phantom forward pass that looked very much like it went forward and then led to a grubber where the Saints player knocked on anyway?

Tigers seem to be half asleep with this 8pm kick off. 2 kicks dead and one kick out on the full providing the territory for Bristol's scores.

Could be. It certainly wasn't a definite but as Saints knocked on anyway it would have been an argument over where the scrum should have taken place.

Tigers start to turn it on. Radrada trying to take Burns head off seems to have fired them up. Could have gone either way but the Fijian only got a yellow, lucky boy. Tigers go over for three in about 12 minutes.

Dan Kelly the heart of the Tigers attack and defence on his return to fitness.

I can't remember what happened after the pass but the point was the ref called that forwards after calling multiple passes/knock-ons the other way for Glaws.

Radrada probably lucky to only see yellow - but this is the same ref & TMO that thought taking a player out in the air who then landed on his head was OK a few weeks back in the Quins/Irish match.

48 mins in and Tigers concede their first penalty.

Same TMO and ref that have now decided that grabbing someone by the face in the maul isn't an offence. It was fairly blatant as well. Ridiculous.

TMO has woken up then.

Should be a straight red and it is. Tigers most mediocre player won't be available for a few weeks, not a loss but might make tonight tricky.
