6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - December 15th 2023 Empty 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - December 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Fri 15 Dec 2023, 7:12 pm

*The show goes live and we have the setup for the official “Born in Fire XI” press conference. All of the talent are set out in rows and tables. Around 1000 fans and media have been invited to attend. Clarissa and Jack Reynolds are hosting the conference and they are reading out questions from online as well as taking questions and comments from those in attendance. We get the hype package for the upcoming matches at Born in Fire XI.

*The first questions are aimed at Geoff Steel and Daniel Reilly. Steel is asked how confident he is to become European Champion at Born in Fire. Steel is his usual stoic self and grudgingly pays respect to Reilly, admitting he’ll be a tough match. But Steel believes he has Reilly beaten and he also believes Reilly knows it. Reilly is laughing these comments off as Oliver Keane gets on the mic. He says Reilly has been carrying 6CWF on his back ever since he won the European Championship and defending against Geoff Steel feels like an insult. Keane and Reilly believe he should be a headline act and once he gets through another successful defence they fully expect to be installed as a #1 contender going forward. Steel encourages Reilly to keep overlooking him….because in two weeks all he’ll be doing is looking at him as he is declared “And the new”.

*Jerome Dubois is running his mouth about winning the “Key to the Kingdom” and restoring prestige to 6CW. He runs down on Uryu Ishida as well as his opponents heading into “Hardcore Hell” before Blue Dragon says “Shut your (beeping) mouth, ya pansy”. Dragon wants it on record that he is going to body all seven of the other men who stand in his way at Born in Fire. He says he’ll win the title and tonight at “Proving Grounds” he will win “The Gauntlet” to take control on January 10th. BD promises he will destroy JJ Johnson’s world when that happens.

BD: You listening down there, JJ…

*JJ merely looks up the rows and smirks, which angers Dragon. Dragon continues that this is playground and he is going to enjoy the legality of being able to do whatever the (beep) he wants at Born in Fire and beyond. He says nothing is going to prevent him from taking over this entire setup. Not Mike Hill, not Cody Walker or Anthony Grace….certainly not (beeping) JJ Johnson….Dragon tells everyone that he is inevitable.

*Eddy Kent is all smiles as he just looks around at all in attendance. He takes a swig of water and then launches the bottle at Dicey’s head which sparks an uproar. Dicey is up and launches over a table. He picks up a chair and launches it as Michael Sweetwater steps in front of Kent and takes the brunt of the impact. Tyler Roth interjects and he tackles Dicey up and they slam through a nearby table. Roth looks ready to pummel down but Dicey grabs a glass jug and crashes it against the side of Roth’s head. Security are piling in and several of the superstars are smirking. Scott Harris grabs Roth by the arm and he lifts him into the “Shot in the dark” before dropping him over the side of the conference platform, sending Roth crashing down on top of a production set. The fans are going wild as security are separating the warring superstars. Eddy Kent is telling Dicey that “You’re done at Born in Fire” whilst Dicey retorts that he’s “Looking forward to putting pound shop Lex Hart in his place”.

*Uryu is asked about Gazzy not being at the conference as well Plague’s disappearance since their “Inferno” match last week. Uryu says he took no pleasure in what happened to Plague but he remains adamant that the only way he can come to a resolution with this scenario is with Plague out of the way. Gazzy repeats that he did not want to fight Gazzy but he sees no other way. He is and always will be a fighting champion, bringing prestige and honour to the 6CW Championship. This brings a snort from Jerome Dubois. Cody Walker tells Dubois to concentrate more on surviving “Hell” than pretending like he has any shot at becoming a world champion again. Dubois retorts that he’s going to take great pleasure in victimising Cody inside the cell on his way back to the mountain top.

*A fan asks about JJ’s mindset ahead of this match with Clarke James. JJ admits that he has been dragged into the most personal feud of his life but his mindset remains the same; putting on a show and destroying whoever is standing in front of him. Clarke James is coming to end him, take everything from him, threatening his family and friends…..JJ says he cannot and will not allow that to happen. He says he hears the comments from Dubois, from Blue Dragon and Reborn as well as several others but right now he don’t give a (beep)….it’s all eyes on Clarke James, it’s all eyes on ending a man he once considered his brother. JJ is asked about CJ once again no showing but Johnson isn’t surprised. He says CJ has been playing games from the start, running and creeping and he knew he wouldn’t be man enough to sit here with him tonight. He knows James will show his face at some point this evening and when he does he will be there and ready to get this war started. JJ says anything you saw when he fought Cassius Zhi, The Saint, Lex Hart etc is absolutely nothing compared to what you will see at Born in Fire. This is his event, the night when he takes it to a whole new level….and when Clarke James finally looks into his eyes he will come to realise that this is the final match of his career.

*We move on to Rex & Max Adamson. Jenny McManus chimes in and says that questions should be directed toward her and the Parasite Killers because they will the ones victorious at Born in Fire. Max hushes her and says PK are the most pathetic challenge he’s ever had at Born in Fire and he once wrestled Jeff Brazier at the event. Max says his nephew needs to “pull his head out his a55” and although he doesn’t want, he sees no other option but to teach Rex a lesson. Rex scoffs at this and says his Uncle has always been an “egomaniac” and is desperate to remain in the limelight by riding his coattails and cutting him off from his destiny and opportunities. Rex says Max is jealous of him and that is why he attacked him. Max cuts off now and he says Rex is deluded and if he wants to listen to Eddy Kent’s (beep) then he belongs in Genesis. Max says he would never do that to family and he has been Rex’s biggest supporter since day one, attending every show. But now differences have to be settled. Max says he will happily draw a line in the sand and forgive Rex once he apologises after tasting defeat by Max’s hand at Born in Fire. Rex says they have nothing more to say to each other and that all questions will be answered in two weeks. A media member asks if the two will square off in tonight’s “Gauntlet” but Max says he won’t be there and Rex will have to go through this one “all by himself”. Rex says relying on himself isn’t the problem, the problems only started when Max started getting involved where he wasn’t wanted. Max rises now and there is a staredown between Uncle and Nephew.

*Robin Reborn and his entourage are late to the party and Reborn has a mic as he tries to take over the scene. He clicks his tongue at JJ Johnson and says his first call of action when he runs “Proving Grounds” on January 10th will be to order JJ into a match against himself so he can teach him some humility. Reborn is wearing merchandise reading “ReBorn in Fire” and says he is the biggest star on this show, without any question. He talks trash on several members of the 6CWF roster as well as his opponents inside “Hardcore Hell”. Reborn notices that Anthony Grace hasn’t shown up “again” but is promising that at Born in Fire it will be Grace’s defining role. He will get to do all his own stunts when Reborn tortures him mentally and physically inside “Hell” on his way to winning the “Key to the Kingdom”. Arguments now ensue between Mike Hill, Blue Dragon, Jerome Dubois, Cody Walker and Reborn. Dubois lashes some water in Mike Hill’s face and tries to steal a punch as Cody Walker runs across the table and dives into a seated senton takedown. Blue Dragon rags Cody up and launches him through a stack of chairs before Mike Hill dropkicks Dragon in the back and sends him toppling over the side of the platform onto the level below. Dragon is seething as Hill smirks at him. Reborn beckons for a member of his entourage to pass him something and we see him wrapping a gold chain around his fist. He comes from behind on Hill but suddenly JJ Johnson steps forward in front of him. JJ and Reborn glare at one another as Reborn backs away with his hands raised in mock innocence. He joins the rest of his entourage, who are scowling at JJ, and then beckons for them to leave the stage with him.

*Amidst all this chaos, surprisingly, Engel Harlequin and Liam Wood have remained quiet. They are just staring at one another from opposite sides of the stage. Jack Reynolds relays a question from the audience about what these two can possibly do to each other than they haven’t already. Engel has a dark smile on his face as he tells everyone that he has barely begun to scratch beneath the surface of fun that he is going to have at Liam Wood’s expense. Wood’s eyes are black and full of malice as he just stares at Engel. Wood says he has no words, there is nothing else to say….at Born in Fire they will enter hell and he isn’t sure if either of them is going to come back.

*Jack Reynolds and Clarissa talk us through the upcoming “Gauntlet” match and reiterate what is at stake. They hype Born in Fire XI as one of the greatest events professional wrestling will ever see as the cameras pan around at those who are left on the stage after the countless fights and scuffles that have taken place. Blue Dragon is just pushing himself back onto the stage and wants to get at Mike Hill but security pile in. BD headbutts one of the guards and is about to go for another when JJ Johnson leaps down from a higher tier and lands in front of Dragon. The two men are nose to nose before it pans around to show Max Adamson and Rex Adamson arguing with the members of The Parasite Killers. Eddy Kent approaches and he hands Rex something before backing away. Rex looks at the “Genesis” t-shirt and Max’s eyes narrow as Kent backs away with a smirk.

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - December 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - December 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Fri 15 Dec 2023, 7:15 pm

*The crowd are absolutely crackling following the explosive press conference for Born in Fire. Michael Bird announces the rules for the upcoming Gauntlet match and we are led to believe that the majority of the roster will be taking part; the opportunity of running “Proving Grounds” for a whole night is up for grabs.

*Tyler Roth is the first participant, sparking boos from the audience. Genesis’ Executioner strides down to the ring and rolls inside. We get major hype for his upcoming battle with Scott Harris at Born in Fire when Harris is revealed as participant number two. Roth has a big grin on his face as he beckons Harris down to ringside. RJ reminds us that pinfalls, submissions and count-outs are at play for eliminations but DQs are not on the table. Harris sprints to the ring now and looks to dive at Roth but Roth stands his ground and pounds at the spine of his rival. He launches Harris back into the ropes and tries to decapitate him with a discus lariat on the comeback but Harris ducks it and snaps off a release German suplex. Harris beckons Roth up and wants a t-bone suplex but Roth smashes heavy elbows into the side of his head until he releases. Roth grips Harris with both hands around the neck now and launches him over the top to the outside.

*Roth makes a beeline for his foe but Harris kicks the steel steps into his midriff. Harris then uses the steps to run up and leaps into a shining wizard to the jaw that knocks Roth down. Harris stomps at the back of Roth repeatedly and then he picks up the steel steps and smashes them down on Roth’s back.

RJ: Remember, Scott Harris has vowed to be the first man to submit Tyler Roth at Born in Fire…

JT: Softening up the back will give him a great chance…

Harris throws Roth back in the ring and then he’s on the top rope and leaps into a frogsplash to the spine but Roth kicks out on two. Harris sets for the “Shot in the Dark” (Olympic Slam) but Roth leaps over the back and shoves him away before landing with the brutal discus lariat now. Roth motions that he is going to break Harris now. He sets him for “The Reaping” but Harris spins over the shoulder and nails a codebreaker as Roth turns around. Harris grabs Roth’s legs now and the crowd cheer him on as he applies the sharpshooter. Roth yells in pain but refuses to quit. Michael Sweetwater (banged up from Dicey’s attack last week) comes from the crowd and he punches Harris in the back of the head with brass knucks on. The crowd boo furiously as Roth gets up now. He quickly pulls the groggy form of Harris up and destroys him with “The Reaping” for the three count and the first elimination.

*Robin Reborn is the next out and he just strides back and forth on the stage as the crowd boo him. Roth seems disinterested in Reborn’s appearance and begins motioning to Michael Sweetwater to arrange some “furniture” so that they can do more damage to Harris.

RJ: Harris may not even make it to Born in Fire at this rate…

Sweetwater drags out a table and slides it in the ring. They set it up before Roth drags Harris to the corner and lifts him onto the turnbuckle. He climbs up but Harris starts to fight with fists and headbutts until Roth staggers down. Sweetwater runs up the turnbuckle now but Harris launches him off into Roth. Harris then dives off with a double clothesline on both members of Genesis. Roth staggers up and Harris drills him through the table with the “Shot in the Dark”. Roth rolls from the ring. Harris picks up the brass knucks now and knocks Sweetwater out as the crowd cheer.

*Reborn decides now is the time to make his way to ringside as the referee counts Tyler Roth out and declares him eliminated from the matchup. Reborn is as brash as ever and cockily struts the ring until “Back in black” hits the airwaves and the crowd go wild. Reborn prepares himself but Anthony Grace comes through the crowd. He ushers Reborn around and lays him out with the “Blockbuster” tornado kick. Grace isn’t active in this match but he’s sending a message loud and clear…
RJ: Anthony Grace is letting Robin Reborn know that he’s heard every disgusting comment to come out of his mouth and at Born in Fire he will make him eat those words inside “Hardcore Hell”….

*Cody Walker is the fourth participant and sprints down to the ring and up the ropes. Reborn is all at sea, struggling to rise, as Cody leaps through the air and splatters him with the “Howling Moon” (Flying Famea55er” which scores the three. Cody has knocked off one of his Born in Fire opponents and has a semblance of revenge for what went down at “Desert Storm”.

*Jerome Dubois is entrant number five. He shoves Cody into the ropes but Cody fires back and takes him down with a slingblade. Cody dropkicks Dubois in the corner and nails him with flying knees to the chest. Dubois staggers out as Cody drills him with a disaster kick for a two count. Cody heads up top and leaps for a flying DDT but Dubois shows great strength to catch him and spin him into an “Au Revoir” side-slam for a nearfall. Dubs sets up for the “French Connection” spear but runs into a drop toe hold. Cody leaps in the air and lands a stomp to the spine and follows up with “rolling thunder”. Dubois is groggy as he stumbles up and into a fireman’s lift/pele kick combo for a two.

*Cody ushers Dubois up and looks for the “Masamune” (Trouble in paradise) but Dubois ducks under and nails the spear off the ropes for two.

JT: I think this is the third time I have seen Dubois and Walker in the ring together and they gel tremendously….this will be some battle inside “Hardcore Hell”….

RJ: Can you imagine what Cody Walker may do inside that structure?

Dubois looks for the “Garlic Bomb” but Walker swivels on his shoulders and counters with a poisonrana. He follows up with a flying “V-trigger” knee strike. Walker heads up top and he looks for the “Coffin Drop” but Dubois catches and cradles him into a surprise three count upon landing. Cody cannot quite believe it as Dubois yells at him to leave the ring. Cody rises but Dubois slaps him in the face. Cody and Dubois battle now until Dubois pokes at the eyes and then nails a “Garlic Bomb” as the crowd boo

JT: Can you imagine Jerome Dubois running “Proving Grounds” for the night?

RJ: I shudder to think…..GORE!

*Huge eruption from the crowd as an aggravated Rex Adamson charges through Dubois with the rib-shattering spear. Rex allows Dubois to get back to his feet and he bench presses him before dropping him down into a modified spinebuster (ala Goldberg). Rex beckons Dubois back to his feet again and he spins him up into the “Fire/Thunder” Driver for the three count. Rex just kneels there and looks ominous.

JT: Not the first time Jerome Dubois’ grand plans have been thwarted by Rex Adamson…

RJ: I’m sure they will revisit their issues at some point….

*Jenny McManus leads out both members of The Parasite Killers now. Rex prepares himself for battle but isn’t sure which member he is facing first. Fanatic climbs up on the apron so Rex turns and pummels him but McManus then clatters from behind and drags him into a sickening half nelson suplex. Rex rolls over on his knees as McManus follows up with the “knee trembler” to the jaw for a two count. McManus pummels Rex as the commentators talk about the growing issues and the upcoming tag team match at Born in Fire.

RJ: I see Max is in no hurry to come to his nephew’s aid here…

JT: I think that ship sailed when Rex challenged him to a fight at Born in Fire…

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - December 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - December 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Fri 15 Dec 2023, 7:17 pm

*McManus drags Rex up for the “River Wensum Plunge” but it is countered with a backdrop. Rex heads to the corner and is setting for the “Gore” when The Fanatic drags him under the bottom rope. He grabs Rex by the throat and is ready to chokeslam him through one of the announce desks but Rex slams a big knee into the gut. He then stuns the audience as he scoops Fanatic on his shoulders and decimates him through the table with an F-5

RJ: A message sent loud and clear to Uncle Max…

*Jenny McManus has slid a steel chair to her husband as Rex rolls back in, unawares. Rex runs in for the “Gore” but McManus drives the chair up in his face. McManus nails the “River Wensum Plunge” now but Rex kicks out. McManus looks angry as he puts the chair in place now. He sets to tombstone Rex on the chair but Adamson fights off the back and pushes McManus off the ropes before nailing him with a pop-up powerbomb on the chair. Rex destroys McManus with the “Fire/Thunder” Driver now for a three and another elimination.

JT: And would you believe it, The Fanatic is the next entry…

RJ: I’m not even sure he’ll make it in time…

*Rex isn’t interested in a countout. He rolls from the ring and drags Fanatic up and launches him inside. The big man staggers to his feet as Rex lashes the steel chair right across the top of his head and lays him out. Rex heads up top now and scores with a huge “Lo Down” frogsplash. He ushers Fanatic up and runs through him with a huge “Gore” for yet another elimination.

JT: Rex Adamson just took out Parasite Killers…

RJ: Not all of them…

*Jenny McManus crawls in and lands a low blow on Rex, which drops him in a heap. She is screeching and looks angry as her husband starts to get to his feet. McManus grabs the steel chair and uses it to lash across Rex’s body as The Fanatic begins to recover. The fans are chanting for Max Adamson but he is nowhere to be seen. Rex is now taken out by the “Boot of Doom” but PK aren’t done and want to send a message ahead of Born in Fire. They toss Rex from the ring and now the youngster member of the roster is destroyed through the announce table by the “Midnight Hour” (ala New Day) as Fanatic has Rex on his shoulders and McManus leaps from the barricade to decimate their rival through the desk.

*Rex is left in a battered heap as Jenny McManus finally calls PK away. Cassidy is the next entrant following his altercation backstage with Matt Lightning. Cassidy looks happy to see Rex Adamson struggling as he slithers to ringside and rolls in. The referee is calling for a ringside doctor to check on Rex and they are making the call that he cannot continue in the match. We get a shot of Max Adamson watching on the monitor backstage. Xanthi Rose is shaking her head at Max….

Xanthi: He’s family…

Max: He brought this on himself….he chose this….

*Eddy Kent is clapping from behind Max and has a smirk on his face as the Australian rounds on him. The 6WF Champion grins at Max before striding away.

*Back at ringside and Cassidy is watching Rex being escorted toward the back. He turns toward the stage and then his eyes narrow as Engel Harlequin is revealed as the next entrant. Cassidy seems to be considering his options as Engel shuffles out on the stage.

RJ: Cassidy looks like a live, prime, superstar may not be his ideal choice of opponent….he’s got a taste for beating up retired wrestlers…

JT: He especially doesn’t want any of an untameable, unpredictable maniac like Harlequin…

*Cassidy waits until Engel is up on the apron before he decides to roll out the opposite side. The crowd boo and call him a coward. Engel looks amused as Cassidy shakes his head and retreats into the crowd. Engel pretends to cry and mockingly waves. The commentators talk about Cassidy being “ditched” by Miss Jessica and her “rendezvous” with Engel last week. Cassidy disappears from view and is eliminated.

*Engel heads over to talk to one of the cameras but it is revealed the cameraman is Liam Wood and he smashes the weapon into Engel’s head, splitting him open. Wood is in the ring now and he pummels Harlequin as the crowd go wild. He launches Engel from the ring and then sprints in and tackles him over the barricade into the crowd. They continue to brawl but then Engel rakes Wood’s eyes and launches him back into the ringside area. Harlequin drops over the barricade and is searching for a weapon under the apron. He grabs the barbed wire bat and follows Wood into the ring but Wood runs in and nails the “Psycho Crusher” stomp as Engel climbs through the ropes.

*Wood has wicked intentions now as he grabs four steel chairs and sets them up to create a platform of sorts. He drags Engel up onto them but Engel counters with a backdrop down to the canvass. Engel pulls Wood up and nails a “Sister Abigail” onto the seats of the chairs. He looks around but then is spun around and drilled by an RKO from Reilly for a three and yet another elimination. Reilly looks delighted as he backs away to the corner.

RJ: Engel has been eliminated from this match but that RKO won’t keep him down long….look, he’s already moving…

JT: And he has a weakened Liam Wood at his mercy….Daniel Reilly is not on the radar, Engel wants Liam Wood….

*Engel flashes a look of malice at Reilly before he grabs Wood by the wrist and drags him under the bottom rope. Wood drops to his knees in the aisleway as Engel kicks him in the face and then drops on top of him and begins to land big right hands. He then grabs Wood by the hair and lifts his head off the floor before repeatedly bashing the back of his skull against the solid floor. Security teem out to drag Engel away.

RJ: Engel was looking to finish Wood there, he wouldn’t have even made it to “Hardcore Hell”…

JT: I really do fear what these two may do to one another inside that structure…

6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - December 15th 2023 Empty Re: 6CWF Presents Proving Grounds Results - December 15th 2023

Post by JJJohnson Fri 15 Dec 2023, 7:20 pm

*Wood is dazed and confused but trying to stand as security drag Engel up the rampway to keep them separated. “Last Resort” then hits the airwaves and the crowd go nuts for Geoff Steel’s arrival. Daniel Reilly looks annoyed as his Born in Fire opponent makes his entrance.
RJ: We are about to get a taster of the European Championship match set for Born in Fire….

*We see Liam Wood pushing past staff and looking to get backstage to renew hostilities with Engel Harlequin as Steel enters the ring with his Born in Fire opponent. Reilly looks apprehensive but then grins as Oliver Keane jumps up onto the apron. Steel quickly spins and drops the agent with a huge right hand. Reilly grabs the European Championship belt and swings it at Steel’s head but he ducks it and scoops Reilly up. Steel prepares for the “AA” but it is amazingly counters into an RKO (ala Orton on Cena)….the commentators talk about how Reilly has knocked Steel off extremely quickly here as the referee completes a three count. JT remarks on how Oliver Keane made that elimination possible and how 6CWF management need to ensure he isn’t a factor at Born in Fire. Reilly is trash talking Steel as the boos ring around. He goes for the European Championship belt again and beckons for Steel to get to his feet…

JT: Reilly looking to give himself an even bigger advantage ahead of Born in Fire…

*Steel counters the title shot and swipes Reilly’s legs. The crowd are on their feet as Steel applies the “Steelworks” in the centre of the ring and the European Champion begins to tap. We get word that Liam Wood is the next participant but he is not forthcoming. The cameras head backstage and Wood and Engel are embroiled in a bitter battle. Wood picks Engel up and drives him backward into a steel mesh barrier….Engel drops on all fours as Wood kicks a chair under his head and prepares for a “Psycho Crusher” stomp but Harlequin dodges it and then he grabs the chair and drives it into the crotch area of Wood, leaving him in a heap on the floor. Engel sizes Wood up and then looks to apply a choke….Wood thrashes from side to side, trying to break free, and then they rush sideways and launch themselves through a glass window, sending them crashing at the feet of several terrified members of office staff…

RJ: And in two weeks you’re telling me these two will be let loose inside the “Hardcore Hell” structure…

JT: Look at them….still trying to stand, still trying to get at one another…

*More security personnel are on hand to keep Wood and Engel apart as we return to ringside. Geoff Steel is just releasing the submission on Reilly as “Born to Fight” booms through the airwaves. The crowd are going wild as Dicey Reilly comes marching down toward the ring. Steel smirks as he holds the ropes open for Dicey and motions for him to get some of the European Champion. Oliver Keane rolls into the ring to aid his client but Steel moves in and scoops him up before delivering a huge “Attitude Adjustment” on top of Reilly. Reilly is holding his ribs as he stumbles up and Dicey sets him down again with the “Craicdown” for the three and another elimination.

*Mike Hill is revealed as the 15th man to enter the match. He swaggers out on the stage as the commentators talk about Hill’s upcoming entrance into “Hardcore Hell”. Hill prepares for battle when Genesis suddenly storm the ring again. Dicey drops Sweetwater with a headbutt but is clattered by Tyler Roth. Roth drags Dicey up as Eddy Kent hops the barricade now. Kent signals for the “Genesis Kick” but Dicey breaks free and Roth takes the kick flush, sending him from the ring. Dicey kicks Kent in the stomach for the “Craicdown” but Sweetwater lands a low blow from behind. Mike Hill seems torn on the idea of helping as Eddy Kent beckons for Dicey to stand now. Hill continues to fight with his sense of right and wrong but then decides to storm the ring. Sweetwater rushes at him but Hill dodges an attack and suoerkicks him over the ropes. Kent tries to nail the “Genesis Kick” but Hill dodges it and nails a spinning heel kick. He grabs Kent by the head…

RJ: Over the Hill?

JT: He threw him to Dicey…

*Hill suddenly spins Kent around and shoves him into Dicey’s path. Dicey kicks him in the gut and sets for the “Craicdown” but Hill surprises him with a rollup for a three count and elimination. Dicey has a wry grin on his face as Hill shrugs his shoulders at him. Kent is able to roll away from the ring, an ugly grimace on his face, as Dicey motions to him how close he was to nailing the “Craicdown”.

RJ: Dicey hits the Craicdown at Born in Fire and we are going to have a brand new 6WF World Champion……Eddy Kent knows it…

JT: And he knows how close he came to tasting it there…the Dicey/Genesis story is a decade old, Kent needs to be fully aware of the risk posed by the “Dublin Destroyer”….OH MY!

*The lights in the arena go out and when they come back up there are ten masked members of “The Fallen” surrounding ringside. Mike Hill is staring out at them all, fully aware of the danger he is now in. He is searching for any sign of Clarke James but he is nowhere to be seen. Hill decides the best thing he can do is run the ropes and he launches himself over the top into a corkscrew takedown on five of the members. He dodges a double clothesline attempt from two more and nails a double pele kick to knock them down. Hill rolls back in the ring as two more give chase. He runs to the ropes and springs into a moonsault takedown on them….leaving just one. Hill grabs one of the downed “Fallen” for the “Over The Hill” when the remaining member makes their move. Hill spins around but walks straight into “Faithless” as the crowd boo and Clarke James reveals himself. He waits for his followers to climb in the ring and he orders them to lift Hill by the arms and legs before they launch him sky high (ala the Spirit Squad) and Hill is left to crash to the canvass in a sickening heap. CJ makes the cover and gets the three count.
RJ: I didn’t think Clarke James would be here, let alone taking part in this match…

JT: With the opportunity of running “Proving Grounds” on offer? He was not going to miss it….

*CJ and “The Fallen” have complete control of the ring when Uryu Ishida walks out onto the stage. The 6CW Champion looks apprehensive but shows no intimidation as he starts his descent to the ring….JT reminds us that the match between Uryu and CJ at “From the Ashes” was where this saga really began. CJ has a dark smile on his face as he orders his faction to climb out and approach the world champion….Uryu gets ready to stand his ground when JJ Johnson comes storming out onto the stage. Uryu and JJ work together now as they send members of The Fallen flying left, right and centre. JJ then spins and points at Clarke James. CJ beckons him on and next minute they are trading huge right hands in the centre. JJ starts to get the upper hand but CJ rakes his eyes and quickly reveals the “Railroad” spike…he tries to drive it at Johnson’s head but JJ ducks it and looks for the “Access All Areas” (stunner) but CJ pushes him away and flees the ring…

RJ: Clarke James wants absolutely no part of JJ Johnson…

JT: He’ll have no choice at Born in Fire….this is going to end one way or another…

Clarke James seethes as he glares back at JJ, who continues to pace the ring. Uryu is about to get in the ring when a light-tube is obliterated across his back…
RJ: MY GOD….BLUE DRAGON SENDING A MESSAGE…

JT: He wants the “Key to the Kingdom” and then Uryu Ishida may very well be his target…

*JJ Johnson is still in the ring as Blue Dragon rags Uryu up and hauls him inside. BD climbs in and there is a long staredown between he and Johnson before JJ walks past him (brushing shoulders) before leaving the ring. Dragon smirks (believing he has scared Johnson off) and then he drags Uryu up. He flips him for a powerbomb but Uryu shows great resilience to counter into a falling headscissors. They get back up and Dragon looks for a big boot but Ishida dodges it and springs off the ropes into a tornado DDT for a two count. Uryu climbs out on the apron and looks for flying forearm but leaps straight into a sit-down powerbomb for a two count….
RJ: In two weeks these two men are heading into separate battles which represent, arguably, the biggest matches of their careers….but here they are, giving it absolutely everything in this “Gauntlet” match…

JT: The will to win, the desire to be victorious is everything to these top class superstars…

*BD looks for a chokeslam but Ishida twists his body into a wheelbarrow takedown for two. They get back up and Ishida looks for a disaster kick but Dragon catches him on his shoulders. He looks for another powerbomb but Uryu counters into a “Code Red” sunset flip bomb for another two. Dragon almost takes Uryu’s head off with a big boot as he runs the ropes but Ishida kicks out. BD looks for the “Deathnote” but Ishida counters into the “X-Factor” facebuster for another near-fall. Uryu heads up top for the “Split Second” but lands across the knees of Dragon. BD nails a huge chokeslam now but Uryu kicks out.

RJ: This is quite incredible….utterly fantastic action…

JT: Members of the 6CWF roster putting on an absolute show ahead of Born in Fire…

*BD once again signals for the “Deathnote” but Uryu swings onto his shoulders and then into a victory roll for a two. They get up and Dragon attempts a discus lariat but Ishida dodges it and superkicks him in the back of the head, sending him into the ropes, and amazingly nails a standing “Spanish Fly” as he returns. Ishida stumbles for the corner now and has “Split Second” on his mind. GazzyD arrives as the crowd boo. Gazzy strides down to ringside but acts as though he has no intention of getting involved. Uryu is struggling to concentrate with Gazzy’s presence but turns back to the downed BD. Gazzy then pulls out a “Plague” doctor mask and places it on the announce desk. The eerie object captures everyone’s attention. Uryu is suddenly spun off the top rope into a huge chokeslam by Blue Dragon. Dragon follows up with the “Deathnote” for the three.

RJ: MY GOD….even with the assist from GazzyD, Blue Dragon just pinned the 6CW Champion…

JT: You want to talk about statements? I think that is perhaps the second loss Uryu has suffered in the entirety of 6CWF? We are going to need to check on that….

RJ: It looks like Gazzy is next in the “Gauntlet” but he’s signalling to Dragon that he doesn’t want to fight….he only wants Uryu…

JT: Dragon doesn’t seem to have any issues with that…

*Gazzy holds up his hands in some kind of show of alliance. Dragon backs away and continues to bask in his victory as Gazzy drags Uryu out of the ring and over to the announce table. He holds up the “Plague” mask now and shows it to Uryu before he straps it onto Uryu’s head. He drags him up on the table and stuns everyone inside the arena as he delivers an almighty “Deep Impact” which crushes the world champion through the desk….

RJ: GazzyD has just obliterated Uryu Ishida….two weeks away from Born in Fire and I think we may be looking at the brand new 6CW Champion…

JT: I’d say we need to concentrate on what we are seeing right before our eyes, RJ….LOOK AT THIS!

*Gazzy has the 6CW Championship in his hands as he sits amidst the wreckage with Uryu at his feet. Gazzy is singing “He’s got the whole world in his hands” when the audience start to go wild. All eyes turn to the giant structure that is lowering from the rafters….

RJ: OH MY LORD….this is an early preview of what we are going to see at Born in Fire…

JT: This truly is “Hardcore Hell”…

*Blue Dragon is laughing and looks delighted as the structure lowers around the ring. the giant cell finally touches down on the flooring, allowing the crowd to get a glimpse of what is ahead. The basic premise of the hell in a cell match has been turned on its head as the 20 foot prison glints with malice. The 16 bottom panels of the structure are the most barbaric of all, 4 made of steel mesh, 4 made of glass, 4 of steel chains and 4 coated in unforgiving barbed wire.

RJ: This is the first time I have seen this structure in nearly ten years…..and it is, if possible, even more barbaric than when I first clapped eyes on it…

JT: A structure designed and implemented by Logan Kincade….no wonder Blue Dragon looks so at home…

RJ: He was involved in both “Hardcore Hell” matches in 6WF, he will fancy his chances of leaving Born in Fire with the “Key to the Kingdom”…..

JT: He still has one more opponent to get through here tonight….AND OH MY, THE 6WF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

RJ: Dragon just pinned one world champion…..can he go two for two?

*Eddy Kent re-enters the ringside area and he stares down with an apprehensive look as the “Hardcore Hell” structure surrounds the ring. BD beckons for Kent to come down to him. Slowly the 6WF Champion begins to make his way down to the ring. Dragon looks ominous as he paces the ring, smirking at the structure around him. Kent is just about through the door when Dicey Reilly spins him around and begins to unload with thunderous right hands. They brawl inside the cell now and Dicey looks to launch the world champion against one of the barbed wire panels but Kent gets his boot up. He elbows at Dicey’s body repeatedly before pulling free. He grabs Dicey by the head and looks for a spiked DDT on the arena floor but Dicey drives him backward into the barbed wire…

JT: This is going to be absolute chaos with eight men trapped inside this structure at Born in Fire….

*Dicey points at BD and says “Wait your turn d11ckhead” before he slams Kent’s head off the ring apron. He then drags the champion into place and is readying for the “Craicdown” on the concrete floor……SMASH!.....there is an almighty commotion as Tyler Roth returns and lands a vicious punch to the back of Dicey’s head. Kent then counters with a backdrop which sends Dicey crashing through one of the glass panels, leaving him in a battered heap. Scott Harris returns now and he spins Roth around, unloading with chops and forearms. Blue Dragon reaches over the ropes now and he pulls Eddy Kent up onto the apron…

RJ: We expected mayhem but I’m not sure anyone expected this…

*Kent grabs Dragon’s head and guillotines him across the top rope. The champion quickly scrambles in the ring and looks for the “Genesis Kick” but BD avoids it and he nails Kent with a chokeslam. He makes the cover but Kent kicks out. Dragon stands and he motions that he is going to finish Kent. Tyler Roth leaps up on the apron to aid his leader as Dragon runs across but eats a solid forearm smash to the face.

*Scott Harris then leaps up behind Roth and he delivers an audacious German Suplex that sends himself and Roth flying backward and through another one of the glass panels, leaving them in a destroyed heap in the aisleway. Eddy Kent quickly tries for the “Mic Check” but Dragon elbows free once more and then scores with a sit-out chokebomb……he clambers back to his feet as Mike Hill springboards in and launches a steel chair at Dragon’s head. Dragon is all at sea as Hill runs him to the ropes and uses the turnbuckle to nail an “Over The Hill”….
JT: Would you look all around…..this is out and out chaos and carnage…

Hill is just getting to his feet as Jerome Dubois drives another chair into his stomach before launching him from the ring. He gives chase and slams Hill against a steel chain panel before Cody Walker enters the cell and he runs up the cell wall and dives through the air into a tornado DDT on Dubois….

RJ: HOW THE HELL DID THEY GET UP THERE?!?

*The audience cannot believe it but Liam Wood and Engel Harlequin are brawling on top of the cell. The commentators tell us that they must have entered through one of entry points closest to the roof. Engel pokes Wood in the eyes and looks to run him toward the edge of the cell but Wood stops short and then drives his knee into Harlequin’s gut. He flips him up for a “lungblower” and then drops Engel, spine-first, across one of the metal supports on top of the cell.

JT: They need to think about cutting this broadcast before something bad happens….

*In the ring Blue Dragon is just about stumbling to his feet, blood running down his head, and he looks angry. Cody Walker is scaling the ropes for another attack on Dubois but BD runs over and launches him off the turnbuckle and he crashes into the cell wall with an almighty bang. Dragon then turns around and eats a “Genesis Kick”. He sways and Kent follows up with the “Mic Check”. The 6WF Champion doesn’t seem content, however, and finishes with the “Kent Bomb” for the three count. Kent rolls from the ring and smirks at Dicey Reilly, who is still in the wreckage of one of the glass panels…..JT reminds us that Kent and Genesis will now run Proving Grounds on January 10th.

*The craziness, however, is not over. Liam Wood has dragged Engel Harlequin up and he hooks his arms in place for the “Manson Driver” before delivering it on top of the cell. The panels underneath them sag and bend but do not collapse as Wood just slumps there next to his bloodied foe. The cameras pan around to show the rest of the carnage that has been created. Eddy Kent stands on the stage and raises the 6WF World Championship as we get another shot of GazzyD sitting next to the unconscious form of Uryu Ishida and then the camera pans up to the “Born in Fire XI” sign.
