Djokovic v Nadal. Which way will it go?

Djokovic holds a 4-0 record on him this year. This would be equivalent to winning the Davis Cup for Djokovic. Nadal aiming for his 3rd Wimbledon crown and 11th Slam title overall.

Centre Court is filling up and fast.

Don't want it to rain on nitb's parade but can't see past Rafa getting his hat-trick of wins here.

I fancy Djokovic in 5. I just have a feeling. If he maintains the belief he has shown all year long.

Got to say that Centre Court looks in top nick. Still plenty of green on the court. Not bad at all after 2 weeks of play.

Novak looks confident, good signs. He has everything in his armoury to hurt nadal so why not him?

Sieizing chances are going to be what this match is all about, I believe.

We just saw Nadal have his first chance in the first game, 15-30, then a loose shot, might NOT have broken, but it was a missed chance....we'll see where the next chance arises.

1 Break Point and Djokovic takes it. That is the sort of window opportunities that guys need to take against Rafa. Murray did it in the 1st, can Djokovic now kick on and take the second.

Nadal served 80 plus percent first serves in the first set and he lost. That is not a good sign.

Amazing isn't it socal. The telling stat was the one break point. Shows you how crucial one point can be.

Just wanted to get your thoughts on something socal. Djokovic's running FH. Is it me or does he seem to place all the weight on his left leg and not the right. I saw a passage of play in that first set, and when he hit a FH winner I noticed the weight distribution on the left leg. Could that explain the strapping?

It's becoming a walk over for Djokovic i'm afraid, Nadal has just not been good enough.

I think Djokovic's length has been brilliant. He has made sure that Nadal has not kept him pinned behind the baseline and he has managed to keep Nadal just behind the baseline. Fantastic stuff it has to be said.

Legend I don't know if it has to do with the knee. I think Novak just works on being really strong with his core and being able to hit with power off the wrong leg or on the move. I wish I could explain it. Novak is just ruthless right now, Rod laver on steroids would have trouble with Novak right now. Novak has now won 7 straight sets against Nadal going back to the second set in miami.

The commentators are suggesting Nadal needs to change up. Not sure what he can do. Djokovic is attacking his FH and anything short he is punishing and pushing Nadal about. Never seen Djokovic in form like this on the grass. The cream has risen to the top.

Nadal needs to give up on the BH slice. He is playing the length far too short and Djokovic is dispatching the FH with ease.

Nadal hasn't even taken the Djokovic serve to deuce yet alone get a break point. Really poor from Nadal.

The returning from Djokovic has been super scary. Again not giving Nadal anything to work with on the return.

It's not like Nadal has had a shocker, Djokovic has absolutely pummelled him into the ground. No-one can live with Djokovic on form like this.

Knew this would happen. The arguments that Djokovic could not beat Nadal over 5 sets are looking increasingly foolish now. This could be over in half another half an hour!

Nadal needs to look at shortening the points. Other than that, I cant see any other change that would bring some reward.

I really can't see a way back into this match for Nadal. Djokovic has him beaten in virtually every category. The only way this is gonna be close is if Djokovic has a massive attack of nerves when he gets close to winning.
