Batman Arkham City

Anyone else buzzing about this game? I can't wait,reckon it be g.o.t.y for me.


Also creaming my pants over uncharted 3: Drakes deception,visually amazing. Playing the beta at the moment,anyone else?

First game was incredible, so this is a must purchase!

As it is at the moment I don't have a console to play it on...

Don't know which way to jump...PS3, Xbox or repair my old Xbox...

Get an Xbox mate, Gears 3 won't be on PS3...

Go for ps3,there is more exclusive titles on it. Plus it free online and built in blu-ray.

It's had a price drop to 180 sheets,bargain.

Arkham Asylum is one of my favourite games of the last few years, and I've played a few!

With regard to choosing between Xbox and PS3, it's up to you. PS3 is far more expensive but you get that Blu-Ray player.

You have to pay for Xbox Live (only about £30 per year) but you get a much better service with exclusive content for games on Xbox Live sometimes a few months earlier than on PSN.

Xbox usually handles graphics on top-end games slightly better, but there's hardly any difference there.

For me, the big swinger is Gears of War. One of my favourite series ever and it's not available on PS3. Also, the newest installment of Metal Gear Solid will be available on 360.

I'm always hesitant to spend money on technology in the case of it being superceded straight away (unavoidable, I know)... Anyone know how long before newer consoles are due?

I know Nintendo have introduced that UWii thing that I still don't understand, but what of Sony and MS?

Best thing about Arkham for me was the hand to hand combat, and the crazy combo's you could hit...it was worth paying for just for that!

Metal gear is probably the best series for me. Although I always maintained the 1st one on ps1 was the best.

Metal Gear 2 was the best for me. Those graphics would still look great by today's standards!

Enjoyed them all tbf but that 1st ps1 one just blew me away,just the story. If they brought it out today with the graphics they have now,guaranteed it would smash every single record. I wish they would do this with final fantasy 7.

I'm gonna have to say I wasn't too fond of Arkham Asylum tbh. so I'm not cueing up for this.

Get a ps3 no doubt, despite whats going on with the network. Xbox is clumsy, cheap and just generally gash. Worst purchase I ever made...twice

Metal gear is just brilliant though can't get enough of it and its got massive replay value.

Yeah FF7 was sooo good, and I normally hate turn based rpgs. I'm seriously considering buyinga 3ds just for zelda
