So from what is widely regarded as one of the best RAWs in years with not only the return of the Great One but also some quality matches on display in Punk v Cena and Miz v Bryan, to last nights taped Smackdown where Edge was stripped of his title by Vickie and then handed a rematch by Teddy Long that night and went onto to become an 11 time World Champion.
11 time World Champion.
11 times he’s been champion in the space of five years.
493 days he’s held those titles working out at an average length reign at 45 days and pretty much none of them are memorable.

This storyline is getting so unbelievably predictable at the moment! An average title reign of forty five days is far from great, but is it fair to say that Edge is one of the most overrated superstars by creative in WWE history? (if not the mist overrated)

11 world titles... (in the words of the Miz) Really?

i did think Teddy Long would correct the situation if Ziggler was deemed champion, but i half expected Edge to win it back at EC as well if Teddy didnt get involved.

I didnt want to see it happen like this, as to gain an 11th title win so cheaply is a travesty.

I dont really watch wrestling anymore, but 11 title reigns is a joke. The belt is worthless because of it. And to think of the big deal of Hogan being the first man to win the WWF title three times.........

was saying on 606 11 titles for one guy over a 5 year period is an absolute travesty

Im pretty sure that even the Undertaker, Rock, Hogan etc havent had 11 title reigns have they?

As it has been said, this just makes the belt seem worthless. Maybe they are doing that on purpose so they can change the design again? Like Cena did with the WWE Championship?

I think that they should bring back the one Undisputed title then let both brands fight over that for a bit.

so if Edge stays around for another 2-3 years, surely he is gonna beat Ric Flair's title record at this rate
