The Rock Music Thread
First topic message reminder :
Seeing as we have a dance music one, thought we could have a rock thread for you to post your favourites on.
One I've just heard that is growing on me is this:
Black Veil Brides - Fallen Angels - Youtube Click Here

Lucky - oh they all wrote filthy lyrics. Def Leppard substituted the word feck for "rock" on one of their singles, and Kiss' "Shock Me" is amusingly dirty.
I didn't have "Flesh and Blood" but I've got "Look What The Cat Dragged In" and "Open Up And Say...Aah!" on CD

Re: The Rock Music Thread
Found myself listening to a lot of progressive/medolic metal at the moment.
Bands such as Mehuggah, Periphery, TesseracT, Born of Osiris & Trivium seem to be taken up my iPod space at the moment.

If it annoys the indie shoegazers, rap and R&B fans, then knock yourself out!

Re: The Rock Music Thread
There's a White-Van Man who drives through my street every day and he's always got old school rock blaring out. I bet he's got a mullet as well. I'm not complaining though cause it makes a pleasant change from the dance/rap/R n B shiit that the boy racers have on in their shag wagons when they're driving passed.

Re: The Rock Music Thread
I have to put up with quite a few noisy neighbours. If its not next-doors with the TV on too loud or having shouted conversations, its people across the street with their Hi-Fis on and windows open, or boy-racers and their car stereos.
I find either putting my own stereo on at high volume, or plugging my guitar in and cranking out some riffs usually makes everyone quieten down.
Got a bit of a shock the other night, walking back from the pub, on a street near mine, I could clearly hear a bunch of people having a party, singing at the top of their voices to The Final Countdown.
I was almost tempted to knock on the door and ask if I could join in.

I've been listening to Deftones again recently and thought I'd post my current favourites.
Deftones - My Own Summer
Deftones - Hexagram
And for those who enjoy the heavier music;

I've dusted off Around The Fur recently, and I have to say it still holds up against anything The Deftones have done since. Though the later albums are very hit and miss for me, I am partial to some Saturday Night Wrist and the B-Sides & Rarities album.

Around The Fur is a great album. Reminds me of my uni days. Remember seeing them at Cardiff Uni when ATF came out. Awesome.

Brilliant Adam!
I'd love to have had the nerve to do something like that in my exams.
