I think england have to go with Wilkinson in the world Cup, England offer little in attack without Ashton. Wilkinson keeps the score board ticking over, Flood clearly doesnt.

If England are playing Italy or Scotland then by all means play Flood, but for any decent team stick with Wilkinson.

Even with that mismatch, he can get at the ball and thats exactly what he did. Tried to hold it up and Banahan lost it in contact. A hand off or running at his shoulder and there's no way he would have stopped him. An.d his line made it very easy for little Shane to get his body in the way.

Bit unfair, it was a team decision to take the set pieces instead of the kicks at goal.

Stupid from phillips

That decision was terrible for Rowland, Phillips should not of been carded there, England had no men at the ruck against 2 Welsh.

I think so as well. Flood is just not strong enough when on the back foot.

Dont understand why Shane Williams is rushing the ball up the field we need to drag the time out.

It would take a hell of a stroke of luck for us to score. As you say, Engalnd haven't taken their chances while they had them. Now, we don't look like we have any. Lineout in Wales 22 now, but I just don't think we can do it.

I'd expect a bit of rustiness as there have been about 12 changes (?) from last week. But the problems didn't seem to be related to rugby. I'd expect Johnson to pick the best team for next week. It'll be interesting to see the side.

You have to say, if Wales had England's pack and platform to play off it would have been an absolute bum kicking.

What the hell can England do? I think Danny Care was our only bright spark, but there's only so much he can do, and our midfield is sooooo slow and lacking in creativity. Tindall actually made some good breaks, but there was no support and no pace.

Wales had basically no ball, but they did manage to score a try on their one real visit to the England 22. Henson came off injured after 20 minutes. He didn't get that much ball but I thought he was looking sharp. I'd take him.
