Blackberry Help

Hi All,

I've got a Blackberry Curve 8520 and for some reason when I use an app like Facebook, it suddenly freezes, sticks that way and I can't do anything but remove the battery to reboot it. Any ideas as to why this is happening? It's only happening today so maybe it's the network or something, but it's very frustrating. I hope it doesn't mean the phone is on its way out because I've only had it about six months!

Cari - I have the same phone and not noticed any problems. It could just be your network though.

Do you have the latest Facebook App? Or are you just accessing it via browser?

I've got the latest Facebook app...I updated it last week as it goes. Maybe it's just the connection I've got here isn't very good.

my blackberry is useless it freezes everytime i add a new contact onto it.

Well bizarrely, I've not done anything to it today, and yet it's freezing now when I tried to dial a number on it and go into the menu. Very strange. It can't be faulty already.

No doesn't seem to be a virus. Just one of those things. Hopefully it'll be fine tomorrow. Seems OK now I'm at home (faster Wifi)

Is this the version 2 app, the one with the chat? Downloaded that a month ago, no problems. Also has places now (I say that because Cari asked about that before)

Yes it's Facebook 2.0.0.37 I have. I think it was the phone rather than the app that was the issue.

I suggest that get rid of your blackberry and getiing anything else.

im gonna have to get rid of my blackberry its useless!
