Jennings in for injured Wallace for France match

See Shane Jennings starting against France tomorrow cos Wally is injured. Good that Jenno gets a start against a top team - now up to him to show what he can do and get a seat on the plane. I think we need a 7 like him in NZ, we have plenty of ball carriers in back row so one groundhog won't be out of place.

As for Wally, pity about injury but it seems to pretty minor and not playing him seems more a case of DK not taking any chances with him. Chances are he will start against England.

So back rowers for NZ are Ferris, O'Brien, Wallace, Heaslip, Jennings and who else if anybody?

A strong team for tomorrow though and about time someone else had a run at 7

Finally he gets a long overdue chance to play in a very strong Irish pack. Can't wait to see the Leinster back row in action together for Ireland. They were so good in the HEC last season.

Strong team I really hope Jones plays well he has it all for a fullback

Great to see Jennings getting the chance. I have no doubts about Wally, so if he plays the England game that should be all he needs before heading in to the first RWC match.

This is probably working out well for Jennings.

I agree, Ireland need more options considering Kearney has played so little.

I think he is more or less in the squad at this stage unless he has a dire match altogether, its more of a question of a starting place for me now.

Jones did well in his cameo in the last France game, and chances are he'll only be needed in cameo roles anyway, he's the perfect pick right now.

Not a great game. To be honest France looked pretty good, even though it was a close game and these French highlights are minimal and from a french perspective.

Never been impressed with Jennings in a green shirt, but Kidney needs him to be a viable option so I really hope he takes his chance.
