Thoughts?

Not a bad squad really, Domingo is world-class but been struggling with injuries......I think that Jauzion and Poitrenaud should have been in there with basteraux handled better and given a chance to show his 2010 form (but can't argue with his omission really!).

Still with that said if this team can overcome the French personality wobbles and having a totally mental coach then they can go all the way !!

Leaving out those two just proves the strength in depth that France enjoy in the front row. It's a very strong squad and if it clicks they could go really far in the tournament, despite their barking coach.

I can only assume Domingo is injured, otherwise it's yet another awful decision.

The only thing that is saving them is the depth of talent. Even with Lievremont picking the squad by tossing a coin, he's still got enough talent there to win any match.

No Domingo, Jauzion or Poitroneau - amazing !

This squad is more than capable of lifting the trophy but that has been the case forever. If they ever find a coach who knows what he's doing they would be alternating with NZ for top spot all the time. I really hope they put it together this time as I can't see any other of the 6 nations causing problems.

They still have a terrible fringe defense. A team like SA would lap that up.
