Hull FC have confirmed that Richard Agar will depart as head coach at the end of the season . Hull's search for a new coach will be headed up by the clubs new Director of rugby Shaun McCrea who officially takes up his new job from Oct 1 , the early favourite to become Hull Fc head coach is Peter Gentle who was linked with the vacant post at neighbours Hull KR before being ruled out by Rovers Chairman Neil Hudgell .

Hull also announced the signing of Wigan Warriors prop forward Eamon O'Carroll on a 3 year contract from next season .
