Dave Allen he always closed his show with "Goodnight, thank you and may your God go with you" if you don't know him check him out.
Spike Milligan his material in the Q series was sometimes hit and miss , but "The Goons" with Harry Secombe, Peter Sellers & Michael Bentine was very good and if you haven't read his war memoirs these books will have you in tears

How come no-one's mentioned H from Steps...sorry I mean Russell Howard?

The guy is hysterically funny!

Other than him, Michael McIntyre, John Bishop and Jimmy Carr usually have me in stictches. Also really like Bill Bailey, Ed Byrne, Rob Brydon, Dara O'Briain and Omid Djalili.
