I agree, but didn't think anyone really stood out to claim it off him. Franks and Corbs were in my thoughts. Uncomfortable having Tonga at #1 without int experience, not a big fan of Beast, prefer Steen, Woodcock nearly retired, Jenkins a lot of injury, but probably should be higher!

Jenkins isn't injured anymore *touch wood* but he could easily be higher. I would possibly give Tonga #1 but tbh the best LH wasn;t playing at the RWC.

ps. I rate Jenkins a lot, just needs to string games together.

Barcella didn't really play in the RWC, Poux did and did rather well considering.

No real standout in the LH position I don't think tbh. Barcella has been immense post WC for Biarritz, Tonga looks a little off form tbh although he's a great player.

I'd have

Healy, Barcella, Tonga at a similar level. Jenkins up there of he fixes scrummaging issues. Woodcock, Poux, Beast at probably a level down.

Never been a fan of Steenkamp tbh

As I said, no real standouts and Domingo was the previous incumbent, so didn't see a reason for anyone to claim it.

Hard to rate an injured player on form from last year over players playing well now. Very good player Domingo but the injuries he's had might finish him as a top prop. It's took Barcella 18-24mth to get back to any kind of form.

To be fair the game changes so significantly at prop from season so to season. Domingo could easily come back as good as he did or slide down the rankings.

What about Hookers then?

Barnes just gets carried away. A player does one good thing in a game and he is the best player in the world. One of the worst for over hyping players
