Maicon's a good player, but Pique/Puyol for me are worse than Rio/Vidic and Abidal's worse than Evra.

Maicon is way better than Rafael
Pique is better than Rio these days
Puyol and Vidic are more or less equal
Abidal isnt as good as evra but still class

So if you could swap man utds defence for the one above you wouldnt?

Arsenal finally get a result although it was sticky for a short time. Any of the youngsters look particularly useful? Nice to see Benny score as well. Still no idea why we shipped him out on loan. He must have pi**ed off someone at the club.

Chamberlain and Coq's looked good but the defence was shocking, particularly Djorou vomit

Confidence is a big thing and Arsenal need to get some wins to build that confident back and we should be ok-ish

Benny is a great addition IMO

Chelsea are getting there and do think that Torres will back a hatful now Mata is here

Hope so mate. He's starting to look more the player he was at Liverpool but I did groan when he missed that open goal. Put that in and his confidence would be back but now it is doubtful again.

Your defence does need some work. They are all over the place at the moment. Defending as individuals. Wenger is too good a coach not to sort it out though so I expect you to start moving up the table very soon. Don't want to leave it too late though.

Mind you I had to laugh at AVB's comments on the match at Utd where the press suggested his defence were frail for the goals but he said there was no point them getting the offside trap working perfectly if the linesman doesn't spot it. Fair point. He did conveniently forget to mention the two possible sendings off that we should have had. I've been impressed by him so far though.
