There's an interesting match scheduled today in Bankok (lovely place which I would recommend to everybody for a stay):

Murray - Dimitrov

How do you think it goes?

I am a Dimitrov fan and I have to pick him, nice to see btw some new, talented hopes reaching the latter stages of tournaments!

Murray should win easily. Definitely try to watch this one because if Dimitrov is playing well it could be a very good match.

Bit torn here - of course I am rooting for Murray but I would also really like to see Dimitrov get his act together now.

Dmtrv is a excellent player, but he brought his junior physique to the pro tour..

Hasn't that been the case of all juniors recently? One junior who did particularly well was Raonic....and that's because he was built like an adult....until his body gave in.

I reckon he must be the most complete number 4 in history. After all he has probably spent more weeks there (as number 4) than any other player. As debated ad nauseum and as the rankings show he is clearly not as good as the top three but also consistently clear of the remainder.

I watched it on a betting site. Bad camera angle, not easy to see the ball.

Not a great deal to report, Dimitrov wasn't bad, he just had a couple of lapses and Murray was fortunate not to get broken early in the first set. Dimitrov seemed to have a bit of trouble controlling the length of his forehand. . . he hits it pretty flat.

I hope Dimitrov will take off. I cannot see why not but we may have to wait for him to beef up.

A single HBH in the top 10? It's a rarity nowadays.

He is already 20, yes, beefing up would help a bit, but a proper fitness regime would be more useful for him. If he wants to survive with a SHBH, he needs to be able to run around his forehand more than he does at the moment.
