Saw that Fisher, legend. Don't get carried away though, it is the Norwegian League after all and Mame Biram Diouf flourished there!

Just saw the man that RvP gave his hat-trick shirt to at the weekend saying he rejected a £300 bid for the shirt. Said that when he dies the money he receives will be split between charity and his 2 kids. How much does he really expect to get for it? It wasn't that momentous an occasion like a CL final or something.

Credit has to go to Pardew for Newcastle.

Taylor and Coloccini are the CB's that got them relegated, and to lose Carroll, Nolan, Barton and Enrique and be where they are now without spending much cash is a great achievement.

We'll find out more about them over thext 4 games - Everton, City, Utd and Chelsea I think.

Bad mistake letting Luiz take the penalty. For some reason Torres won't take them. You normally can't get the ball off a striker when a pen is given. Odd one. Anelka has missed his last 3 so perhaps he was not fancied.

Not sure what it is about the end of October and November but we seem to switch off. mad
