Foley return announced....

Appararently Mick Foley's return to the WWE has been released. The TD Garden in Boston are hosting the Raw before Survivor Series on the 14th November. The release says The Rock will be there, there will be a 6 man tag match of Orton, Cena and Punk vs Miz, R Truth and Henry, plus a "special apprearance" by Mick Foley.

I know WWE tends to change things at the drop of a hat so it could all change, but if he is back then in what capacity might it be? On a team at Survivor Series?? Special ref for a match?? Or just making an appearance?

Any thoughts?

can he still wrestle? id love to see him back, perhaps restart the hardcore division? add a little bit more edge

He might be able to pull off a very gimmicked hardcore style match where he doesnt have to do much. I too would like to see him back though, maybe bring Al Snow back with him as well and, as you suggest, start up the hardcore division again.

i think al snow works at impact wrestling now........not certain but im sure i saw him break up a fight on the show

I really hope that Mick doesn't return for an in-ring role. It would be sad to see and bad to watch.

I wouldn't want either of them back to revive the hardcore division, it was terrible period for wrestling that will hopefully never return.

I reckon (and hope) Mick Foley will return in a comissioner role as a replacement for Johnny Ace

Agreed. They can still have Johnny boy there to play an on-screen antagonist role if they want, or, and I would prefer this, turn HHH heel and have him and Foley feuding.

I wouldn't mind him having a one-off feud with somebody like Cody Rhodes or Wade Barrett to give them a bit of a rub, but that's all the in-ring activity he should take part in.

Otherwise he should be brought back to be the good cop to Laurinaitis' (or Triple H if he turns heel) bad cop.

I'd love for him to resume his role as a colour commentator alongside Jim Ross, I thought they had the potential to be great. That would only happen if Vince isn't running the Gorilla position and screaming down the announcer's headsets.

I would like to see him have a one off feud with Cody or Ziggler, only if he got in proper shape though and only if it where a one off
