Week Five Review

The Fights

Repeated warnings went unheeded, further punishment was required and in the end it cost him everything. No, not coxy0001, but Amir Khan, the former champ's two points off costing him his titles. Ungracious in defeat, Khan has a lot of hard work ahead.
A disappointing week all round, two cancellations, a no contest, and an RJJ win, which obviously proves that the former great should carry on in the ring.

The Premiership

Unexpected results and a no contest meant low scores all round this week.
Predictor of the Week goes to Eyetoldyouso, a paltry 8 points wouldn't usually win it but given that his 8 points lifted him from the relegation zone to a respectable 8th place finish, the award is deservedly given to the now former UCPL champion.
The big story though is all about bhb001, a meagre 4 points was just enough to keep him at the top, the new UCPL champion winning the title by 1 single point.

The Championship

A single point was enough, as Adam D clinched the Championship title with an impressive total of 49 points.
The remaining four promotion places chopped and changed throughout the season, and it's congratulations to SportsmanGC, All Time Great, two_tone and lfc91 who will all battle it out in next season's Premiership.

Another champions league place for the best predictor on 606v2! A succession of finishes reinforcing that statement.

Losing out by a point is made all the better by seeing the perennial annoyance Tina relegated to the lower league.

I was away so couldn't predict unfortunately. In the old days I would have PM'd Union to see who was fighting but he is much less approachable these days so I will have to take my medicine and join the ugly people in the Championship.

Promotion in my first season, amazing performance from the ATG of the 606v2 board. Should of really won the Championship (only personnel who believed in Chisora), but I'll take the Premiership by storm.
