Need to show the Scotland team the footage of those 30 phases leading up to a successful drop goal.

Cannot believe it. Pure class from ROG nearly 1200 HC points.

I still think Saints have a good chance of winning this group.

Munster had the ball for 40 phases from the 80th minute. After struggling to make ground for wa while a few breaks were made and ROG slots a drop goal from around 30m out to win the game. Johnny Sexton wouldn't do that! Hope that summarised for you Kado! Did you head to Grange or where?

Very impressive from Munster...made too many mistakes though (Murray and Murphy especially gifted saints about 16 points. Plenty to work on and Peter O'Mahoney looked really impressive.

I think the ref was fairly even to be honest. Saints second try was a forward pass before the knock back from O'Gara so two mistakes evened out.

Not.

It was flat at worst, I think it was close as it only travelled about a metre before ROG touched it. Knock ons during that finish were the worst thing though. at 82.47 Leamey (sp) knocked on. Should have been game over before the kick.

It didn't hit the floor from the looks of it.

I agree with Portnoy! Was this the Thomond park experience where reffs buckle under the pressure?

His right hand lands on top of the ball! So it must have hit the ground first before he recovered it!

Hey, don't tar us all with the same brush please. I support an English team who lost today, and I thought the referee for the most part was excellent, and we were beaten by the better team on the day.

Its not and English thing. It is just facts.

Lads you're coming across as very bitter people. Take the defeat with a bit of class.

If it is an even playing field I would not feel aggrieved.

I agree, the ref made some bad calls, but he is expected to in such a fast game - over the full 80 they were probably about even. The stuff about him not letting Northampton use their forward domination is bullsh*t, you have to play to the referees interpretation.

Owens is one of the best refs in the world so you couldnt really have asked for a better unbiased referee - he isn't English or Irish and plays to NH interpretations.


Well done Munster, thought they were going to lose it at the end - ROG brilliant.

Grace in defeat is a sign of a good character lads. Munster conjured up a brilliant drop goal that almost no other team could have done. Just congratulate them and get over it.

You look at any breakdown there would probably be a number of potential offences. Munster gifted 2 soft tries and some very easy penalties. No matter what the ref does a team will have chances to win the game. Lamb's missed conversion cost them he missed a penalty or two aswell. Northampton Siants players have to take some slack . It looked like they thought the game was won. I would also be concerned with Foden's defence if I were English.

Saints fans should be pleased with that performance, they still have a good chance of topping the group and I expect them, like Munster, to win all their home games. A losing BP at Thomond is no mean feat. Come on, don't blame the ref.

Its not that I am being ungracious in defeat it is simply a case that it was not a level playing field.
Muster won, fair play. I know we made mistakes today but did not deserve to lose, even though thats the game we love sometimes.

Are these sams people now complaining about the ref, the sames one who told us all to get over the Warburton incident.

He got skinned by a winger who is 33 and his tackling was poor enough at times.

No way will Saints win that group, if they can't put a game like that to bed by the hour mark with all that dominance they will struggle to get out if the group let alone top it.
