Shocking that Steve, can't believe 36 can't get in that side. Smith has been in great form tho

36 has to leave Leicester to get his career going, as he's potentially a top class player but he's got to be 23 now? I think he'd do wonders at a club like Saints. Very clever player, bit like Greenwood but not as good a runner.

What England would give for Greenwood to be 25 again! He's the best English player I;ve seen play live - though would be a toss up between him and Richard Hill.

People make too much of Hodgson's defence - he's no worse than a lot of players, its just that everyone compared him to Wilko who tackled better than 99% of backrowers!

I have no issues with Hodgsons defence, he's as solid as most these days. Think it's Matt who thinks its a real weakness

I've read Austin Healey's, Will Greenwoods' Matt Dawson's, Martin Johnson's and Jason Leonard's and they are all pretty good reads.

Got Clive Woodward's and Iam McGeechan's to get through.

Dallaglio's is class - great book

Actually I have read half of Geech's now i think about it but got stopped when came back to uni. Just up to the Lions bits.

Reckon Tigers will win as Clermont havent taken their best side across the Channel - lot will depend on whether Youngs and Flood perform - a lot of pressure on Flood as Tuilagi/Smith combo doesnt work for me.

No it didn't click last week, Manu kept running the 13 channel and Flood had no go to ball. Looked transformed when 36 came on and Manu went back to 13.

I fancy Tigers by at least 7

Trouble is that its hard for at 13 to play at 12, whilst its easier for a 12 to play at 13.

He could really kick on to be top draw, cracking player.

Tuilagi's biggest test won't be getting to the top but staying there. People work players out and he needs to get around that obstace.

Waldroum playing really well so far, real scrappy game though

Flood kicking percentage this year around 60% not good enough and will lose games.

Picamoles in great form and a must start at 8 for me, I'd have Bonnaire on bench covering backrow

Bonnaire was a star of the world cup so can't see them dropping him. Playing really well today as well.

I'm not sure about star, he had a good WC though.

The thinking for me is Picamoles brings such a focus he must start at 8 and both Hari and Dusa are streets ahead of Bonnaire on the flanks.

Hamilton having a mare

He's had a right funny season Hamilton. Normally one of the safest and consistent performers in the AP too, looked right off the boil

Floods so annoying one minute he is controlling the game and the next he goes missing. The tigers pack need to give him more runners as his only option is manu at the moment. Haven't seen alesana Tuilagi come Looking for the ball once yet.

youngs is very good around the fringes, still looking for him to get back his form around the rest of his game, you can tell he's just shaking a bit of rust, he'll hit top form by 6Nations and that changes England a lot, as gives us such an edge in attack.

think we have to build the whole backline around youngs, tuilagi and foden - all three will be world class, ashton, sharples both great talents - just need a top class 10-12 combination. Flood showed his best and worst today - just wish he was more consistent as would be a great player then!

waldroum has always struck me as a player who is very good for his club, but could get a bit lost at international level. actually when you look at it there arent that many great no8s in the AP...I like Joubert but there arent any standouts really.

Think Waldroum is much more effective at 8 Luke.

Waldrom and Joubert are both out and out 8s for me.

Think Joubert is the better player and is a tremendous all
