Where to buy WR gloves from?
In particular I'm looking for a pair of Wide Receiver gloves, I need something for the christmas list and they'll come in handy, but which are the better online shops? I've found:
https://secure.footballamerica.co.uk/store/
http://www.epsports.co.uk/store/
Has anyone experienced any issues with either of these two sites?
Also Cutters or Nike or Under Armour, which are better? Or is there really no difference?

Under armour according to cousins I have over. Amazon.com sell a lot of that kind of stuf. Like these: http://www.amazon.com/Mens-Football-Gloves-Under-Armour/dp/B003N1ZW6A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1323505445&sr=8-2

yeah, get under armour or nike, I had cutters and they are the best if the weather is always good but a bit of rain and mud recks them

Thanks Thomond, didn't think of Amazon.com after I only found a few pairs on amazon.co.uk and they were by a company I had never heard of. Has anyone heard of Barnett Sports?
Thanks Niner if they aren't good with rain I can't really get them.

EP Sports are OK, the Outlaws used to get stuff from them but they became quite erratic with their shipments & deliveries. We since switched to Football America and I can tell you, they are absolutely awesome. I would def encourage using them for pretty much any gear, and if you live relatively close, you should def go down to their shop, they've got so much stuff there.

EP Sports are good- Joe there is a really nice guy
Football America- also a really good service and quick delivery
Outside of the UK try Eastbay- to be honest- with shipping and delivery the cleats I ordered were cheaper than both the above and arrived in 3 days!
Also used Forelle when the Euro rate was good and I got a few freebies with my order!
Reebok NFL ones are horrendous- my Cutters lasted 3 seasons and Nike lasted barely 1 season- mine were linebacker ones though despite being an Offensive Tackle!

Thanks Gur but Football America don't seem to currently have any gloves in my size, will contact them though to see about it.
Thanks The_Essence_of_Excellence I will have a look at those non-UK sites.

Re: Where to buy WR gloves from?
Well that's alot quicker than they say they will arrive but I'll ignore that, I'm confused by the delivery costs "Shipping and handling is 28% of the net order total or a minimum of $35.99." Does that mean the miniumum I have to pay for delivery is $35.99? Or that it will be 28% of $35.99 if I don't spend that much?The_Essence_of_Excellence wrote:Outside of the UK try Eastbay- to be honest- with shipping and delivery the cleats I ordered were cheaper than both the above and arrived in 3 days!

Would assume that the minimum is $35.99, but if 28% of your order total is more than $35.99, you would pay that instead

Re: Where to buy WR gloves from?
From what I remember it was UPS delivery and I could watch online to see where the package was at any given point.
Dug out an email from them when I got my shipment:
Subtotal: $59.99
Miscellaneous Charges: $0.00
Tax*: $0.00
Shipping & Handling: $25.00
Discounts: $0.00
Gift Cert/Cards Redeemed: $0.00
Total: $84.99
Bearing in mind the cleats were £75 in the UK that was a freaking bargain! Not sure how my shipping was only $25 though. Lemme have a play and come back to you.

Re: Where to buy WR gloves from?
Hmmm....seems like its $35.99 when I lobbed a random pair of gloves in.
I must have got lucky then I guess cos I only used them a year ago!
Sorry for the wasted time...unless you buy a few other bits to make it worth you while

Re: Where to buy WR gloves from?
Checked it out using their live chat thing with their customer service people, they said it's a minimum of $34.99 or 25% of the total order. Still according to the currency convertor I just used that comes to a total of £41.62 which seeing as they actually have my size in stock is pretty good as that's about a pound more than epsports (but I don't know their delivery costs) and less than Football America.
