Boxing Bet Advise
Afternoon all, am looking for a bit of advise as thought someone on here may have had the same experience. I placed a four fight accumulator back in September (obviously this has been dragged out due to Froch/Ward fight being delayed....
10th Sept Klitschko vs Adamek (Klitschko by KO) 8/15
17th Sept Mayweather vs Ortiz (Mayweather by KO) 2/1
16th Oct Hopkins vs Dawson (Hopkins to win) 11/10
30th Oct Ward vs Froch (Froch to win) 2/1
4 fight accumulator 27/1
Now the first 2 came in and then we had the controversy with the Hopkins/Dawson bout, if this fight is overturned to a Hopkins win by DQ or a No Contest by the California Commission do you feel i am right to challenge the bet outcome which stands as a loss currently. I contacted Ladbrokes a couple of days after the Hopkins fight and they said even if the decision is changed they will not change the bet result as they have to go with the decision on the night. i was not happy with this response and said i would go through a betting adjudicator if the fight result is altered. Do you feel i have a chance of getting this changed so the bet is back on relying on the Froch result? Has anyone else experienced something similar with a boxing bet?
Cheers in advance for any advise.

No, they will pay out on initial result. You have no challenge.

Problem is what happened if you bet on the European (or whatever it was) 4x100m in 2002 (again, year could be wrong) when Dwain Chambers admitted to being on drugs some years after thus the team getting DQ'd and being forced to hand their medals back? And you'd backed the team who finished 2nd?
You don't stand a chance unfortunately.

My advice would be, don't take betting advice from Coxy. He is utterly hopeless.

I use to work for Ladbrokes and they will only pay out on the initial result.

Predicting =/= betting.
"Coxy's Big Banging Boxing Bets - Week 6!
Woop Woop
Good evening 606 and welcome to another edition of "Coxy's big banging boxing bets!". You all know the score by now so won't bother with the usual intro apart from if you choose to bet don't bet more than you can afford. Even if you're not a betting man let us all know your thoughts on the fights!
Recap - Last week had Lindsay by stoppage and Wlad by UD.
After this and a shocking bet on Kauto Star...I'M BROKE!
I'm now sitting in an internet cafe in a week old clothes and wondering what my life has come to.
If you learn one thing from my threads (other than my terrible boxing knowledge), it's that betting is a mugs game.
Spare some change?"
