Glad he didn't win (read that somewhere I don't even remember, did NOT watch the show). It's his homosexuality that has set him aside and made him a celebrity tbh, not really his ability and success with ball in hand, and he's been exploiting it from day one.

Excuse me!It was not his sexual inclination that sets him aside ;it is the fact that he can exist whilst having proven on live tv that his brain had ceased to function.It was either this cr*p or become a footballer-no contest.

Agree with this - for someone who wants to help advocate the whole "what's the big deal with being gay?" he really is making a big deal out of it.

Precisely, you'd think someone who's supposedly gone through the stress of hiding it for a period of his life would be less than thrilled that it's thrown more attention his way than anything else about him ever did. Those jumping on his coming-out are dull enough but Thomas' is an even bigger dope and something of a massive attention-loving hypocrite for his reaction.
