Can't see beyond JT as the winner. He's just too good at the moment. Would love to see Gouldie win though!!

The Sun says a Graeme Dott victory over Ali Carter could lead to a 'mouth-watering' showdown with John Higgins.

Dott'll be Carter. Carter's head is in a bin at the moment. I can see Matthew Stevens beating Higgins, he's in decent form at the moment.

I kind of feel sorry for Ding. Ronnie is clearly the crowd favourite and they are being very vocal.

Well i am bang on with my first predo. Ronnie beats ding 6-4
Sealing the win with the first century at ally pally and his 50th in the masters.

Well done eire Didn't see the end of the match but from what I saw it was quite good. I won't say Ronnie will win it because he's too unpredictable. Could end up being beaten 6-0 by JT in the next round.

Although I'm Scottish I'd prefer Mark Williams to win as watching Stephen Maguire is akin to watching jelly set.

ronnie v judd r2 would be very interesding. whats the story with the captin lads? is he likely to go through with his retirement plan

Don't know. He's been very underwhelming this season and is getting on in years (33 now, still young but when you look at the guys in their mid-early 20s it's worrying for him). Getting beat by Dott (if it happens) might alter his mood a lot.

I was really happy that Robbo won. Thats 7 major final appearances with 7 wins. Correct me if i am wrong but i dont think that any other player has achieved that?
