Lindsay has looked great when he's started for Wasps but is one of those I need to be nailed on starter for club before claiming spot on here to be rated fully.

Cant believe he can't get past Webber who I think is pretty poor.

Roll on end of 6N is all I can say, I know how Chris feels now having 5 players in match day squad is killing me.

Glad wood did
Not get in 6n squad. He deserves to but only being able to play 1 side of scrum kills his chances

Find it interesting that carter being picked up for lack of form and has been out less than 4 months. Personally I give 6 months for wc players. Amazed players like Sheridan don't get picked on for you luke yet Domingo gets slaughtered for Chris.

Personally unless wc I cant rate players out for more than 3 months wc get 6 months.

I generally also look at home advantage worth 3 points also

Webber is a good carrier and scrums quite well and is very mobile. His throwing is so poor. Lindsay struggles with throw also.

Dawiduik from glos is a top thrower. For some reason lots of championship hookers have top darts. I know Dave ward who plays for pirates ex bath, saints, sale and how he is not a prem player again is crazy

Interesting you say that Matt as you picked me up for Thorn this week and since playing WC final 3 MONTH ago has played every week in Japan. By your rule you'd rate Thorn higher if he was injured than actually playing lol

Carter not played for 4/5 month but still gets a decent rating from me. Domingo not played in a year though, same reason I don't play Smith

My mistake did not realist Sheridan was playing. I am a big fan of him.
I said thorn starting to fade away as
Playing in Japan. Particularly as he is quite old and has said that he would
Have quit if not
Off to Japan. Think you lose your edge. Hayman ruined his career playing at falcons.

I personally have never rated thorn but changed my mind in last year but also think quality of 4s at world cup was poor. Thorn dominated all at wc. However would not have him in super star bracket.

For example I rate mccaw and read highly no matter how long out

Smith kept his rating with me for a long time but I agree far too long now. As i said seen he will be back in 3-4 weeks. Will be rusty but generally is back to normal in 1-2 games. Great great player superstar.

So many good 6s in rugby

On keo there has been talk of Fourie moving back from Japan to blue bulls. He needs to be back best 13
In world with Conrad. 2 different players completely but both superb effective.

The stormers young lad in second row looks great ex u20s and not elstadt. Phenomenal last week have not seen this weeks game.

Carters last game was against France I think and that was September 24th. That's over 5 month. I didn't realise it was so long.

If you dont rate Thorn for playing only fair I don't rate Carter for not Wink

My rule is 6 month for
Wc and legends hence smith carrying rating for
So long. He is back
In 3 games
So
Irrelevant.

Who
Is
Still
In
Lv cup?? Am
I ?? Hopefully not as want
To rest all players.
Thorn still rated but if he went to Leinster would
Have full rating and be
Seen as a plus each match. I
Look at packs
Man vs man and give a point per each one better then look at how
I think would play as a unit per conditions etc. getting harder and harder to predo

To be fair Carter been out nearly 6 month doesn't really effect my rating of him too much anyway. My rating for quality goes a bit longer especially if playing well before injured.

I find it hard to rate after 9 month/season or so though

To be fair I think booth is a forwards coach and not head coach.
Attended a lineout session he did for Bournemouth rfc and it was absolutely visionary. Brunel university people say the same about him.

Like Brian Ashton he is a coach and not a manager. Would love booth at glos as forwards coach. Think he would also help England there.

Not helped by armitage and hoff being banned constantly. I also think he has been there too long. Catt would be your choice ???

Don't think Catt is the answer.

I'd be happy with Dean Ryan replacing Booth. He has taken the team as far as he can now and we are going backwards.

Mat

In answer to your earlier question, you have Leicester (a) again next week in the LV semi final. Likewise I have Saints again next week in the other semi final.

I will be making 15 changes to my starting XV!

Ryan impresses as a pundit but his transfer record at glaws was dreadful.

We were crying out for forwards and he would
Buy vainokolo Karl price
And Barkley on super
Wages.

Think he learnt from his experiences and his record
For us was great in terms of finals etc.

Also made good coach appointment but made too many of the
We would see 7 to 10 coaches interfering.

He ring fenced academy money and tapped into our huge local player base to get the academy where it is.

Glos will always produce players as city is rugby obsessed. I played back there today and driving out so about 30 random
People wearing glos shirts. Rugby is everything.

Irish will struggle to produce players to the volume
Of us but their academy has produced some pearlers

For me 3 months non world class 6-9 for world class. You raised a great point earlier about thorn being rated more injured than playing every week in Japan. Has made me rethink to be honest.

Best example is stormers 8 for you he carries zero rating as our so long yet smith and mccaw carried ratings for ages.

Struggle with barcella also as he can't seem to regain fitness.

I got canned for ferris last year and for me Barnes could be finished with another concussion or 2.

Japan thing is weird. Fourie best 13 in world with Conrad yet with Conrad playing in super Fourie starts to lose inn6 months. Intensity matters and bad habits are picked up at lower standard.

Haskell said standard
In Japan ok.

For you read smith mccaw Joc could be out for ages and carry ratings. Also depends how they were playing pre
Injury. Ie bowe was
Miserable this season yet been good for Ireland he would
Not last 6 months out without losing ratings. Joc been amazing last 12
Months so would keep rating longer.

AAC you play everywhere yet he will be
wing this year as world cup where he was fantastic. For me
That effects him when played 15,13.

It's so complex how people rate and everyone is right in what they do it's basically armchair opinions

Vermeulen has been playing BS this season, looks pretty good there tbh.

"AAC you play everywhere yet he will be"

Think I've played AAC twice at 13, twice at wing and about 40 at FB! Lol....

AAC will play mostly at FB and maybe wing for Tahs, only played wing due to injury.

Wasn't a question regards my team tbh, just a general question to everyone as people rate differently

He has been poor for Leicester that's why the commentators were saying he needs to just concentrate on Leicester. He has been great today against a woeful Gloucester side.

May had a horror show so far which is why I said he needs another year before England but should be involved in the training group.

If wood had not won so many penalties off their Tongan tighthead we would have conceded more first half.

Can't send a team like that to welcomes road

Psa has introduced the defence system he used at glos. no line speed
And an out to in. Did not work then and did not today. It isolates forwards on backs. France lucky. Mas fofana maestri hari bonnaire and poit went well. Parra rougerie and Malzieu poor. I
Have those 3 in my dream team so annoyed. Did not see Malzieu touch ball until second half.

Pretty much agree with that Matt although I thought front rows kind of cancelled each other out. Tiny edge to France maybe.

Hari & Maestri pick of French & Sexton, Ire backrow & Bowe pick for Irish. Malz was really quiet although Bowe seemed really up for it and kept him busy
